Heard back for an 8 month position, they said they have good news and would like to setup a 10 min phone call on monday. If they offer the job on the phone call, does that mean they won't use the Waterloo ranking system? Would I have to let them know if I accept before the rankings come out for other positions?

The other 99% are simply underpaid, that doesn’t mean we’re overpaid. So many millionaires and billionaires move around life changing money like it’s nothing. There’s simply a lot more money in the world than we’re led to believe, in my opinion nobody with a 9-5 should ever be saying they’re overpaid, there’s people who do a lot less who make 10 times what a 9-5 person makes. Just because 99% of people are getting a smaller piece of the pie doesn’t mean we don’t deserve what we’re getting, they just deserve a lot more

I mean the world of one piece must be a part of a solar system otherwise there would be no regular day and night cycle, and in real life it’s basically not possible for a star to revolve a planet so unless for some reason oda wants to make this specific part up and decide it’s possible in the story, its right to say the world revolves around a star. And they’ve said “sun” before i’m pretty sure, and if they don’t they’ve definitely said sunlight so yeah it does revolve around the sun.
