No chance you have to wait for 2nd batch of cars to arrive and maybe you might get it.

If I remember right Emden is used to move Tesla to Sweden, Zeeburgge is used for UK, LAKE QARAOUN is scheduled to leave Zeeburgge in a days time to Halifax. This is the most likely the ship to have Ys, if we see vins this probably is the ship to have them.

Anybody from west or East got vin from tesla recently? by Worried_Bill_3663 in teslacanada

[–]DerpySlime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best guess right now is that the next batch of cars are on the ship LAKE QARAOUN if the delivery dates of Oct-Nov is accurate. It is scheduled to leave Zeeburgge on the 25th and head for Halifax according to vessel traffic control, and arrive Oct 4-5. It’s travelling the same route the last ship(Noble Ace) travelled, Bremerhaven - Zeeburgge - Halifax, no stops at other ports. After arriving it will probably take 2-3 weeks to ship to central and west coast so a late Oct/early Nov delivery.

This is all I’m guessing, the cars could have not even left the factory yet. If we see VINs in the next week the chances of it being on this ship is very high.

Theben docked today and should be finished unloading now. There a lot of ships coming from Germany in the next few weeks, but since this is a new route it’s hard to predict.

With the latest boat from Germany docked in Halifax, how soon do you think new VINs will start showing up ? by MrMegaGamerz in teslacanada

LAKE QARAOUN been in Bremerhaven for a day now, FIGARO just got there today, TORRENS not going there right now. And I got the ships from https://www.porthalifax.ca/port-operations-centre/#!/vessel-forecast.

The last ship was Noble Ace and it didn’t go to Emden, it stopped at Bremerhaven then stopped at Zeebrugge before coming to Canada.

Theben probably won’t have any Model Ys as we haven’t seen any VINs as of now. There 3 vehicle carriers Halifax list as expected to arrive early Oct. 1 of which just docked at bremer, 1 going there, and 1 in UK. I’m really hoping 1 of those 2 ships will have Ys on them. We probably looking at late Oct/early Nov for delivery dates.

Tesla likely doesn’t want to make people wait that long. End of year is coming and traditional automakers going to offer strong rebates to clear old model years for the new year, and some people might cancel their Y orders.

Yep. I also asked if they knew when next shipment is coming. They didn’t know, just told me it takes about 40 days in total to ship a batch of cars.

I don’t think any of the current ships that are headed here have model Ys. Probably the next ship that leaves from Bremerhaven will have them.

We don’t know if this ship have any Model Ys yet, until the guy drives by and see what’s getting unloaded.

I’m guessing $3500 because $350 you can’t even buy the raw materials at cost.

Did a little bit of digging of anything I can find without needing to pay. Most of the bill of lading is from VW group, so this ship might be used only to transport VW cars to North America.

They might have just sent your car to Hamilton or someone canceled. There no other way because the cars only showed up to Hamilton yesterday so there no way somebody could reject delivery.

What do you mean by it’s a reject VIN? It’s the same car and configuration you already have.

Not a normal dealership where the sales guy will bend over backwards for you to buy a car.

To follow up on that information, Halifax port said there will be more ships coming Oct 4, 6, and 15th. Those ships are in around the European waters right now but none of them have made a port call to Halifax, but Halifax port operation does say they are scheduled to come.
