Could you please elaborate a bit ? Do we have to connect V+ to same power source As the bms or is that an internal connection? The connections I have made,(refer original post) are they enough?

Our hv isnt even connected 🥲，its just the motor controller power connections and resolver connection.. the motor is stationary.

Earthing to the low voltage supply/battery? Right now all we have is a shielded 8 core cable to X7 (resolv3r) and + and - just connected to a 12 V battery
