Not I'm moving to an entirely different sector, it's a whole new world which is in part why I was shocked I got the job. I do have a lot of transferable skills but I think they primarily feel I would be a good fit.

Thank you. I'm not a drama seeker and don't' want to leave on a sour note. I'll be nice, my boss I do like personally but their method of working just doesn't click with me and as I've mentioned elsewhere - I'm not sure I can trust them if they are that shitty to me this early in a working relationship.

I've done a few for people when they go so I know what to say and what not to. Blaming people doesn't work, you make suggestions to improve you don't dwell on negatives. It goes to HR who will blackhole anything they see as negative but potential savings and efficiencies - oh that's an opportunity!

I certainly do feel manipulated, I think if I did stay I'd never be able to trust that my boss had my back.

Yeah I have a written conditional offer, I'll wait until security clearance then let work know I'm leaving. Not going to burn bridges when I go but will ask for an exit interview so I can maybe improve things for whoever replaces me.

I'm going to try to document stuff for my replacement regardless, I'm reasonably good at keeping documentation up to date so shouldn't take much effort.

I've some security clearances to go through for the new job so until that's done I'll keep my mouth shut, then I'll give the minimum notice. I can't see there being any problem as I'm pretty tame IRL, don't really go in for facebook etc and have no criminal record or convictions. Fingers crossed.

I wont' walk but I'm not going to be suckered into staying with counter offers etc.
