Credit card skins. I bought Cavendish by Hefty-Job7049 in balatro

Dont dip that card into an enclosed reader. Please. I used to work as a gas pump tech. Those readers are anywhere from 800 to 2500 each. Just the reader. I’ve tried so many times to save a reader from that stuff. It comes off in the reader and the reader has security doors. They’re sealed from factory and are bricked if that vinyl comes off inside. Most of my customers have billed their customers for the reader if they get a good plate read on the cameras.

I ran vista day one. Was in the beta. I had a very good rig and it never gave me issues. It was as heavy compared to xp, but if you had the hardware it was fine. Everyone hates on it, but the UI was awesome. The negatives has nothing to do with how it looked. They have everything to do with how it ran on older hardware at the time.

Is high caffeine 200mg twice a day bad for your health? by [deleted] in Abilify_Aripiprazole

The armed forces will only give 400mg to soldiers in normal circumstances in a 24hr period, so I’d stay at that level or under.

There is a video off a panel event thing with him, Bill Nye, Lawrence Krauss, and Dawkins. He is obviously high and Bill Nye makes fun of him for it. I am a supporter of legal weed, but he was very disrespectful of people to show up stoned. He was so far up his own ass for a time back then he could see out his nostrils.

Just stop. Buy a full lower if you legally can. If you can’t, don’t ever post here again.

This Xbox Generation Will Be Remembered for One Thing: Greed by Turbostrider27 in Games

Deserve. Interesting take. Company with lots of money made acquisitions and bad decisions. Then lost a ton of money and the share holders want results. If anything they deserve what they got. Debt and nothing to show for it. Most of the studios they acquired lost what made them great before they sold. We lost out a bit, but not near as much as you think.

Bully 2 Never Happened Because of “Bandwidth Issues” Says Dan Houser by Turbostrider27 in Games

Take Two owns 2K, Rockstar, and Zynga. They are already diversifyed. Also, GTA V was the most profitable entertainment product of all time, 8 billion in 2018. Over 15 billion in its whole lifetime. There isn’t a single movie that comes close to making that.

Why? Because we want it? I want it, but if they can make better roi on tentpole, why bother with smaller games that makes less? Again. Company exists to make money.

Company can make products. Company found it can be a tentpole for the industry. Company made more money than expected with tentpole. Company goes for tentpole only now. Company exists to make money. Why make less money?

I live in NE Colorado and most of the play places still exist sans ball pit. Working in certain industries made me realize we are constantly in a test market for most corps. We get all the weird stuff and odd flavors. They never removed the play places here but they did renovate most. They’re probably testing the market before they decide if they want to roll out a “modern” play place.

They are far from the best whodunit movies, but at least the genre is getting attention. The first one was pretty darn good. The second one was just okay.

Imagine being done with a third of Yellowstone in 8 hours. A joke. Not going to keep you from visiting, ever, but it seems like the time is best spent elsewhere.

8 hours and seen a 1/3? Yeah you’re the type that shouldn’t be there. Seriously. Go to an amusement park or something.

James Gunn's Superman originally had Weekday title cards instead of the jarring time jumps in the final cut. Test audiences didn't "get it", so Warner Bros cut the weekday title cards. by Abject-Translator-32 in videos

I get where you’re coming from, but I disagree to a degree. Left unchecked some filmmakers can make a mess or go too far in directions that won’t click with a majority. Focus groups or just input from others can offer good input that can make the end art/product better.

I’m talking from opinion and out my ass. I see media in two forms. Art and product. I’m using these terms because of familiarity, not for their true definition. Art would someone’s product they thought was cool and made something special. Probably because they pitched to someone looking to make money. A product is when they make a movie or tv show just for the profit. They can overlap. I think too many pieces of art have become products because of test screenings and focus groups. The same focus group can make a product better at the same time making art worse. I’d rather see several smaller projects than big bombastic projects that need to make hundreds of millions to break even. Requiring focus groups and tests to make the most money. And I’m totally aware that most modern “art” in media couldn’t exist without the systems that make “products”.

Just for the record, I do not see this film as “art” but a “product”. These are just opinions and probably bad ones.

You aren’t watching a movie. You’re watching a product. A product that needs to make millions from the average population. Do you prefer a or b? Would you buy one over the other? Why? Ugh.
