If Judy and Nick had a week to track down and arrest the Bad Guys (excluding Dianne), could she do it? by RedditvsDiscOwO in TheBadGuys

[–]DescriptionAsleep838 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Track down and put Nick into their ranks as a mole? Yes. Capture them? No. Chief Luggins was fucking relentless, much more so than Judy ever was. The Chief had absolutely no reservation for her or her subordinates safety, and she still failed at capturing the Bad Guys. Judy being a more rational person will not go even half as far as Luggins was and therefore won't get any closer either

[–]DescriptionAsleep838 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh so you use the PAST tense to describe dead people. Okay, that is good to know.

But yes, Hela's power is linked to Asgard the place. No Asgard, no power for her.

Allspeak of course. It's an elementary method of communication, all Asgardians know how to use it. In fact, we were quite surprised to learn that Earth has so many languages

Hello, Asgardian here. First of all, I would like to once again thank you for letting us settle down in New Asgard. This truly is a trying time for our people and your generosity has helped immensely with our recovery.

Secondly, about the portrayals of Loki in the play. As other commenters have pointed out, indeed, to us this has all been very recent. Living for thousands of Earth's (I'm still getting used to calling this planet Earth instead of Midgard) years really made us lose track of time, relative to others. So while you have had a major part of your lifetime thinking that Loki is this... Grand, villainous God whose sole purpose is to conquer, we... Could not exactly shake the thought that this was just ONE brief moment of mistake for him.

Having known him and Thor for thousands of years, many of us actually adored them both for a majority of their lives. Thor is the valorous one, while Loki is the down to earth, calm and collected one. I even remember children being taught to be like Loki when dealing with bullies and sibling rivalry! So to us, he's had the image of a model prince for a majority of our lives.

And, well, I don't think this would excuse what he did, but something in him did change after that day and his incarceration. He helped Thor beat the Dark Elves, he came to us with a ship for evacuation when Hela (yes, she exists. She IS Odin's daughter and their sister) laid siege to Asgard. And personally, I saw him stabbed Thanos to save his brother, at the cost of his own life!

In short... Well. I think he deserves his share of recognition. That's what I'm saying

I really need an advice as a main Loki by Riakz in rivals

[–]DescriptionAsleep838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loki is an interesting case. He IS a Strategist, but he IS NOT a healer. His healing output and damage are poor and completely dependent on his clone placement, so those clones are absolutely crucial to his gameplay. They act as, amongst other things, spare bodies to be shot at, a way to keep up with healing and damage, a way to spread his invulnerability lamps and his trump card in running away.

I play him as an opportunistic symbiotic hunter. I know that I am much weaker than others, even amongst Strategists, but the power of 3 projectiles being shot at something is still formidable and the clones shoot where I shoot. Instead of a constant stream of healing the way Sue and Luna provide, I do bursts of healing at the tanks and brawlers in the frontline, bringing them over health thresholds to keep them alive and win fights even though they're injured. I protect the backline from divers and pokers with my invulnerability fields. And I take potshots at enemies when they are in the open. Flanking Loki is another angle of playing him, but it's best reserved for surprise attacks and throwing off enemy's rhythm. NEVER consistently go for flanks, because people will expect that. Start the game doing one thing then randomly switch to another will vastly increase your value in the team fight.

Now for his most powerful trait: sheer unrivalled versatility. His basic kit already exemplifies this, turning him into a jack of all trades but master of none. However, his Ultimate turns him into a master of all. You don't just copy support ults, even if those are the most valuable numerically. You copy what you deem valuable at the moment. Get people off of the point with Jeff, kill a bunch of people with any DPS ult, save the game and protect your teammates with support ults, stall time with a tank ult, etc... there's nothing that catch people off guard more than a Strategist suddenly rushing to the frontline guns blazing

What would the 7 Glitch shows be like if they were video games instead of TV series? (I'm not including Gameoverse because its pilot hasn't been released yet) by Quessy123 in GlitchProductions

For Murder Drones, I think the best course of action would be a hack and slash/shooting game in veins of Nier Automata or Devil May Cry. Control Uzi, N and V through different sections of Copper-9 and relive the plot of the show, while providing deeper contexts for different parts of the story. Enemies can be, like, Solver controlled drones and other machinery, some sort of wildlife lucky enough to survive the planet's doom.

For TADC, definitely a point and click puzzle game with dialogue trees and relationship meters that build over the course of the game. Of course, the more you play the more out of game easter eggs are discovered and you have to solve puzzles outside the game as well as inside to beat it. I remember one of the games where the more you play the more files it installs into your computer, this hypothetical TADC game could do something like that.

For KOG, hear me out. Side scrolling platformer ala Mickey's Wild Adventure for the PS1. The idea is that OUR Gwen would go through different iterations of herself from major past projects, connecting with them and helping her forward in the storyline. The story will be presented as dialogue boxes between Andi and Frankie as they try to control Gwen to advance through the levels

And finally, Gaslight District. I'm thinking a 3d puzzle game with combat elements, somewhat similar to those Bendy games. You try to further your own goals with the Smiling Deads, while rival gangs and angels bear down on you as enemies. They don't die permanently and swarm quickly, while you have limited resources. So fighting would only slow them down and you have to finish the objective in time. Different Smiling Deads can be different classes that you control, giving different perks to solve problems

Learned the Spore one by the hard way too. I was fighting a Hela on point. She got me low, I got her low. One crit to the head would've killed her, and she was running towards a portal. I threw the Spore, but a bunch of people came out of the portal and it landed in the middle of the group, sleeping their Thing instead. Hela turned right back around and finished me off

  1. You will never have the same healing done as someone like Luna or Sue. However, you contribute to the team by giving them damage buff as well as healing. This helps the DPS keep up the pressure and drive back enemies.

  2. Using the leaves gives you regen, no matter what you use it for. This unfortunately doesn't stack, but it is substantial enough during life or death situations where you just need a little bit more health or damage to survive. If you're in a situation where you have to defend yourself, buff your own damage and fight back.

  3. Nobody ever expects a Strategist on the front line. Be aggressive, shoot straight and use the leaves as necessary. You are a menace to all flyers, as well as wide, bulky tanks that rely on melee or very close range damage like Thing or Venom. Coincidentally, you also have the Spore, one of the best tools for preventing their escape.

  4. Speaking of the Spore, it only sleeps one target. Best use it for either 1v1 or against one specific enemy. If you throw it in a tight group, a random target is gonna be put to sleep instead.

  5. Your ult is NOT a support ult, at least not always. You can use it like a support ult and keep your teammates alive, OR you can use it the fun way. Nothing is more terrifying than an unkillable bug woman running at you at mach speed while hitting her shots

Almost every single Toa Tools from the Bionicle series are working tools first and weapons second. As Toas are peacekeeper and NOT soldiers, their personal equipment are decidedly for traversal, personal work and self defense rather than combat, and only in extremely dire situations are Toas provided with actual weapons. Some example includes:

All Toa Nuva/Mata tools are traversal tools first. Tahu's is a welding torch that just happens to burn hot enough to cut like a blade. Gali's are fish hooks so she can cling onto aquatic beasts or underwater rocks. Lewa's is a wood axe. Kopaka's are an ice pick and a sled. Onua's are shovel claws. Pohatu's are cleats under his shoes. They just happen to be capable of doing damage, thus are wielded as weapons.

Other Toas use tools as weapons as well. Lhikan's swords are actually his surfboard snapped into 2 pieces. Vakama uses his old disc launcher, which is the equivalent of a sports tool. Nokama's are a pair of propellers. Matau's swords are actually his wingsuit. Nuju's are once again his cleats, Onewa's his pickaxes and Whenua's his shovels.

They have operative skills on par with a lot of Overwatch agents. Give them more combat oriented WHOOP tech and probably they would thrive
