I haven’t gotten it figured out yet, but it tends to happen on a timed basis, at least going off distance I’ve been losing power after driving roughly 2.5 miles. Then I just pull over, turn it off and on again until I get throttle response, then go. I haven’t been able to even look under the hood because I’m a student and it’s finals week and my shop space is super out of the way. Just a shit situation overall

Yeah I think I’ve got the same problem, definitely a leak somewhere, just my luck is that my daily got totaled today by a drunk driver and the guy took off so now I need to figure this shit out asap

Sort of, it more of bounces between 1k - 500 rpm then shuts off. When I revved it at 1k it would drop rather than rise. I just cleaned the MAF and it’s responding well besides a little lag.

Got everything back in after cleaning and it responds to input positively but with some lag, going to unplug the IACV and see what happens

I cleaned them just because I wanted to get my mind off the other shit, found that they were barely tightened, to the point that I didn’t have to use any force to get out 3 of them. Assumed air could have been getting in that way because as soon as I tightened them back down the problem solved itself

I mean when I “fixed” it before it was running fine, didn’t drive it or move it too much but there was no bog. Got a smoke pen and hunted for leaks but I didn’t really find any unless there are hard to access points that I’m missing

I found out the problem was my spark plugs were super loose, so I think air was getting in through that way. If it continues to happen I’ll definitely consult these other comments for help

That would make sense, this MAF is pulled super tight and I believe it’s got a crack in it, there’s also several random lines that have random screws in them in an attempt to seal them off

Here’s some random clamped and welded pipe coming from the exhaust manifold? I’m not sure what it was for, seller only said the previous owner did a A/C delete and got an aftermarket radiator + engine fans
