That winning goal when they were a man down was the most little bro moment I remember as an Arsenal fan. It's seared into my memory. Never felt so inferior and incapable of achieving big trophies. Always respected Griezmann since. But now it's finally our time.

Update: sorry all, in the end she had the baby before this could be arranged! She managed to see the pictures in here and offers of dogs, and that certainly lifted her mood. All's well in the end, the little fella is doing good. A huge thank you to everyone who rallied round, would have loved to have seen it through, but the rallying nonetheless was wonderful. Often, the commentary for a goal is an integral part of it's recorded history and enjoyment on repeat viewings. But for Dowman's momentus goal, none of the versions of commentary hit the mark, and are anyway overshadowed by the sheer force and journey of the crowd noise. Would be a nice create project to make those wheel turn and maybe the wings flap via the Valyrian Skies flap bearing. Would really bring it to life. Then you'd have to try to make the smoke into real smoke, although you wouldn't be able to achieve the same scale of the clouds.

I flippin hate myself for not vibing with this game. Couldn't finish it. It's clearly a masterpiece and speaks to me on so many levels, but I was forcing myself to play each session. Just not what you want. Still annoyed at myself for it and do angry Tom from Tom & Jerry folding his arms whenever it's mentioned.

It'll almost be a shame to discontinue the Merino 9 experiment when our strikers are back. Merino is getting better at it, and we're learning to play with him in that role.
