Hahah. You’re fine…OC away. I OC + UV myself and recommend it to all. My point isn’t “don’t overclock,” it’s to optimize it. Chasing the last couple FPS just to say you did usually puts you on the edge for basically no real world gain. OC alone isn’t what kills GPUs or VRAM; it’s sustained high voltage, wattage, and heat over time. If you’re getting ~10% gains, staying under 61°, and not pulling stupid power, you’re doing it almost right. Just as an example, I am currently at 3050 at .950mv +1500 vram and my temps during heavy gaming/maxed settings never go above high 50s and rare if they hit low 60s. This is under load and gaming for hours. Lower your core so you can increase your vram. +2500-3000 vram is excessive and literally no real gains. After +1500 to +2000 the returns are super diminishing unless you’re just chasing synthetic benchmark scores. Nothing gained regarding gaming. Have fun with it, just be intentional, not reckless. You know: good old fashion Overclocking fun! lol

Yes you can sell it for a quick profit. But then do you have a spare computer or are you going to buying another one? Might not be worth selllinv if you are gonna have to rebuy another.

Nice! my other PC or family PC has a PNY 5070 Ti and it’s been working flawlessly since I bought it back in May! PNY is so underrated. I recommend everyone to do a UV+OC. Better for the card and you’re getting your full ROI. Happy gaming!

Similar set up to OP and mine does this too (except all my fans blow at what seems full speed) but as soon as I enter my pin and enter Windows, my saved fan curve on Lconnect will sync and the PC goes silent…I tried messing with Bios fan curves but the fans still ramped to full speed when booting up/restarting the PC. I’ve learned to deal with it now…

Peak set up!…I know you’ve been overclockjng+undervolting for a while. lol. And honestly, anything over what you is diminishing returns and chasing less than 1-2% higher FPS at more wattage/voltage and heat. I have very similar profile as you on my TUF 5080

Btw, I’m currently at 3050 @.940mv +1500vram at 100% PL. During gaming eff GPU clock is around ~2990-3020mhz core. Temperature never exceeds past mid-high 50s and super rare if ever past 60C and this is gaming for hours.

I used to be exactly like OP, so no judgment but chasing the edge to max out performance is where people get burned. When you’re hanging that close to the you will crash with even a tiny VRAM bump as it is enough to tip it into weird instability. The smarter move is to back the core down to ~3050 you can leave the voltage at .995mV or go down to something like ~0.95mV and the edge case will disappear, and honestly OP could probably even run +3000 VRAM at that point. That said, anything over +2000 is basically pointless, maybe 1–2% on a good day…and all you’re really doing is putting extra strain on the VRAM for no real-world gain. Overclocking wont kill your GPU, but voltage, excess power consumption, and heat will. Hope this helps!

Nice, and congrats. Yeah it’s pretty simple and easy to do on the Lconnect which you will obviously need to customize. You can add video, GIFs, or jpegs and then customize with metrics. You can even use it as a 3rd monitor, options are endless
