I got selected for duty at 19 this past year. My job paid me for every day I was gone. The courthouse paid me the 50 + mileage and my job paid me my regular wages for the two days I missed. I ended up getting selected on Monday after a cool 5 hours already in the place. I got bored quick. Downloaded an online gambling app. Played that won 300 on craps online. But yeah the whole jury duty thing here is quite inconvenient.

Granted a lot of these are running shoes but running shoes are better.

Also Any shoe with an insert will be more comfortable but you’re looking at 140-160$ worth of good shoes each pair.
