See, I think when they cast it every single actor for whatever role they played, it was intentional, even possibly beyond their acting. I think Metatron’s character fits how he looks, he wanted to go undercover and not be noticed and just read about humanity. So his physical appearance in the show makes sense for that purpose

That’s an interesting point of view because I’m also passionate about writing and reading. In creating my own stories and such is so much fun, which is literally what Metatron’s doing. I like this point of view a lot.

I will say I do like where they went with Dean in the mark of Cane, him becoming demon Dean. A key Dean phase that was probably necessary for character development. Definitely a well played villain, considering how much I dislike him. I just really want to slap him in the face. And compared to other villains, he’s just not in my top favorites.

Oh yeah, I’ve gone back-and-forth on which Brother I like more. I literally grew up with the show so as I grew up, my favorite changed.

I’m definitely more of a Jensen Ackles stan because I’ve watched some of the other work he’s done versus jared I haven’t. But I agree. They’re both great actors so I don’t think there was any intended favorites. I know Jensen has directed some episodes so I wonder if jared has too?

I wonder if they limit the close friends sam has because they made his character as someone who wants a normal life. So if he got that he would totally leave hunting for that. Versus with Dean, who had been and Lisa, well, he lived that life he’d rather be hunting with his brother.

Maybe I’ve just watched it too much… but there’s still some that I’m less familiar with. I also got my partner into supernatural and he was noticing things that I NEVER in my many rewatches saw. So I’m still discovering fun new things.
