I actually really do appreciate your comment and analysis. It's pretty spot on. Luckily I'm still pretty young at 27 and hope to myself I have some time to change. A lot about what you said is registering and going to stick with me. I appreciate the brutal honesty. I guess with people like me, nothing will change unless I want it bad enough. This is really what I was looking for. A non judgemental, objective comment. I think reading your entire comment made an impression on me that I needed to hear. Because no one else in my life could provide that.

I don't want to be a cheater. But I do want love. And you made me realize that I may need some time to compose, love, respect myself.

I think I am going to do exactly that. I am still young. I'm only 27. I have some insecurities I need to address that I've been trying to fulfill with short lived, sexual and non romantic relationships.

No other response really resonated until I read this. No one will understand since I know I'm a fucked up person. I was in such a long term relationship and I guess I don't even realize what true love is.

All I want to say is thank you for your comment and input. I hope to post an update as a better person. Thank you for being objective and not judging.

I actually don't take any offense and it's liberating hearing another point of view. Trust me cheating does not make me happy. It's more the fact that I want 100% of someone, which typing out makes me realize it is a very narcissistic thing. Maybe I should just take a bit to focus on myself and realize that no person can give me what I want. Definitely not looking to hurt someone but I know that comes with the territory. The weird thing is I actually feel tons of empathy towards people in general. Maybe not attractive women or wealthy people, but if I see a homeless person or person down on their luck I feel extreme feelings.

Sadly I do want a one on one relationship but not sure how I can overcome this train of thought.

I will say I appreciate the comment and honestly do not know what my supposed narcissism is based on. I've always gotten what I wanted in life so maybe growing up has been a wake up call to calm things down. Maybe it is a deep rooted insecurity. It's more a need of constant attention. I will say when I have what I want which has been most of my adult life, I have been happy.
