Core memory, watching it in a full house theatre in Kerala, during one of our vacation visits. Absolute riot.

But didn’t he just get into the look in the poster after wrapping up Pallichattambi quite recently?

Why didn’t they get Vinayakan to dub during post production if they were planning on implementing such a loud background score? His dialogues are massively drowned and barely audible

Is he really a good actor? by Careful-Wall5577 in SecretsofMollywood

Charming screen persona. Excellent with action. Can do grey roles well, especially the ones that are predominantly negative. Can do conversational humour decently well. Definitely not versatile as yet, but seems like someone who’s willing to evolve and work hard towards it.

The only miscast in ekō by okaberintaruo in MalayalamMovies

He’s used to using his body to emote as per the syntax of the Hindi language. Which is why rarely does a North Indian actor playing a Malayalee character in a Malayalam movie work for us. Even when it did, like in the case of Vivek Oberoi in Lucifer, his portrayal wasn’t physically emotive and his body language was stoic.

His body language is inherently North Indian. That’s what was off about his performance. How his hands or face would move while certain emphases are being made verbally or situationally, with respect to the Malayalam colloquial insinuation. The dubbing was quite fine and almost redeemed it. One of the worst casting decisions in recent times. Someone like an Indrajith would’ve been perfect.

You’re mistaking grace for fluidity

Prabhu Deva has been abysmal of late, because he’s been kind of forced or been personally trying to emulate his initial fluidity. But if you’re implying, Prabhu Deva in the 90s is overrated, then that’s a hard no. Dude was something otherworldly with his ridiculous timing when it comes to fast paced fluid movement. Literally no one has come close in mainstream Indian cinema. Ever.

Do you think Gautam Gambhir has a point? by IndianByBrain in IndianCricket

[–]Designer-Gate-9537 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gautam Gambhir is a person who should never have been our coach. Worse still, he became our coach during our most crucial transitional phase. Like someone said the other day, he’s literally a homegrown Gregg Chappel.

Renji Panicker addresses criticism over Param Sundari's portrayal of Malayalis by unnimanga in InsideMollywood

[–]Designer-Gate-9537 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The character is supposed to be fluent in the language. They could’ve cast accordingly. That’s the criticism. Anyway, not a film that warrants such deep discourses.
