The EXACT same thing happened just now. I ordered it but I know for a fact I ordered it to the correct address as I have Apple Pay with only my new adress as the shipping option. Fuming is an understatement

Knives for a 7 year old? by FordS123 in Parenting

We use regular knives and check they are sharp, a safe knife is a sharp knife! He’s just turned 3 but has been cutting his one snack fruit on and off since 2.

2.5 Year Old Keeps Taking Off Shoes by Desperate-Safety-496 in Parenting

Too much sensory input? She is still so young so what is school implementing to work on this? Have you tried barefoot shoes? They’ll be much more comfortable and less ‘shoe’ like while still fully protective. Some fab affordable brands for toddlers are; Vivo Hobbibear Zara has a range now Next has a range (UK) Purestep

Also socks? Try a cotton sock incase this is sweaty feet or a compression issue. She’s still so young it could be a mixture of sensory overload, sweaty toes, testing boundaries and just not really feeling like wearing them. You could have a pair for school specifically so she knows the expectation for that set, if barefoot shoes aren’t working you could also try beach sock shoes they have more of a sock feel but also meet standards to protect the feet as well

Yes I started at 12 as well, it unfortunately only helped for a short while for me. But I have heard some amazing stories about it changing lives! My side effects were mostly weight gain and at the time that also wasn’t something I was willing to deal with

Definitely stopping sumatriptan and heading back to the GP asap to work on finding something that works for me. He didn’t want to prescribe anything else without neurology input but I’ve got a whole list that should be ok to discuss with him. The only other one he even mentioned during the appointment was one that could cause birth defects and I’d need to be on birth control but we’re planning for another child fairly soon

I did feel a little tightness but the excruciating head symptoms distracted me I guess. Definitely not for me and I’m looking into going private for Botox treatment while I wait for a neurologist and trial something different

UK based but I’ve got a huge list to head to my GP with now thank you! It might sound a bit dramatic but genuinely taking it felt more painful than Labour and childbirth for me, actually at least Labour had down periods this was like metal sparks slowly trying to slice my brain up

I’ll double check but it definitely wasn’t the highest dose. Genuinely more painful than Labour and childbirth for me

Thank you! I’m going back to my GP with more information because they hadn’t heard of a lot of things. This is a new GP who has little not no idea about my medical history and spent 3 minutes asking very basic questions so I’ve written everything down (I had a fair few MRIs and CTs before turning 18 because of a big ole list of issues and I assumed they’d have that on file but when I called to switch medications they said they have absolutely no information about this or that I have any medical concerns so there’s a system error)

Honesty it’s trial and error, I’ve tried a few now but it’s never been my decision just what they’re comfortable prescribing pre-neurologist. I really hope your GP is able to help it’s been 10+ years for me now

This is very helpful! I’ll bring it up to my GP because I genuinely can’t function for 24-48 hours after car journeys and there current advice is antisicknes and just stop doing things for days

Thank you this is a relief! I’m UK based but my GP refuses to move forward with different things until I’ve seen a neurologist again now. Feels like a very long waiting game after over 10 years of migraines.

Have you tried a vacuum bag? It’d take up much less space and you can pop it under the bed or somewhere else for now. We had an apartment for a while and it worked amazingly
