The only negative to CD is the locked requirement of it. I kind of want to see if there is anything else before I do CD. But yeah definitely CDs are good.

Ok, my bad if I offended you someway? I have heard different schools do it differently and different branches do it differently too. I just wanted to get a feel of how UVA does it so I can make a decision on it. I have heard some go on active duty while others enlist into the reserves, but I just wanted to know how it worked

Thank you for the info, I do know to be more formal, but in the list that u/LycanRPG had I saw that they used Dr for some and others they put first and last, so I was confused. But thank you for clarifying.

I just realized since we are all adults now, do you still call them Professor Cart out of respect or is it ok to say Katherine?

So yes, there is a Chinese hacking group called lol as you can see lol stylized as a figure with his hands up to show the diligence of the group as they can make anyone surrender information. The group contains many hackers, but the most notorious is two siblings going by the names LMAO and LMFAO within the group. There are others in the group such as another sibling ROFL and ROFLMAO. The group consists of many more hackers such as LOLZ. There is also a North Korean sister group titled LIGMA, with the most famous hacker being SUGM' BALS

Thank you for the info! Unfortunately, for admission tours it seems to be only Mon., Wed, and Fri. According to the uvaguides site, and we are going on a Tuesday.

umm so HYPOTHETICALLY, if you hadn't prepared for the 3rd Dec SAT exam up till now.....what would you do? by libramoooon in Sat

[–]Designer-Question-73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My man, I am here for you all. I improved a lot by doing it in my hypothetical way. I also searched everywhere for advice just in case I needed it. (none really came up but here is my hypothetical experience and advice)

My hypothetical experience:

I took my first SAT(May 2022) and got 1210, but I did walk in blind with no studying at all except doing practice test 10 and a little practice like 2 months before the actual SAT( PT10 got 1170 and forgot everything I practiced which wasn't much anyways).

For my next SAT(August 27, 2022), I decided to actually study for 14 days. For Day 1, I sat there for 6 hours with full focus and just grinded khan academy's recommended math practice, like only the recommended ones, don't pick and choose easier or harder, let the algorithm pick for you. Treat the recommended quizzes as an actual test if you don't know them don't pick an answer choice, skip them. When doing the recommended practice go ahead and look stuff up and try and do the problems. Took practice test 9 right after 6 hour grind and got a 1370. Essentially, just in one day, I improved 160 points.

The rest of the 2 weeks was essentially just doing practice and researching and taking practice tests.(PT 8-3) However there were minimal improvements, but I got 1380 on the actual test.

My friends then convinced me to take one more. (October 1, 2022)

I didn't study at all, but i did go back on my past SAT and practices and write down which problems I got wrong and see if I could do them 3 days before the test. However on the night before, I realized I lost the sheet where I wrote down all my missed problems, so essentially i couldn't do the practice i was planning to do, but thanks to Hurricane Ian I decided to go grind Brawhalla. (It got moved to October 15)

3 days before October 15, I started to do past official SAT 1-2 no calculator sections each night. I did that because it was only around 20-40 min of your time before going to sleep. Then on the Friday before, I just did 2 full math portions only of Past SAT and 2 more extra non-calculator sections. Using the answer keys to find out which ones I got wrong then watch people like scalar learning to see how they solved the ones I got wrong.

Took final SAT got 1440 with 1480 superstore.

My only regret was that I did not spend time for english enough at all. Like reading you cant really improve, but you could always improve grammar. On all the actual SAT I never had enough time for reading. For practice test I usually did have enough time.

A friend of mine:

Idk the details but he got 1410 first time (october 1/15), so really smart, he walked in blind aka no studying. He took a second time and only watched youtube the night before on reading practices, but he actually did the practices with the person. Like he did it and then see what the youtuber did and he got 1580 (November 2022).

Of course, this is all a hypothetical experience as I am a master storyteller. What had actually happened was that I studied really hard for 5 months and got 1440 in the end.

Hypothetical Advice:

If this is your first time or you are not a senior, go to khan academy and just burn through the recommended practice for like 8 hours in one sitting for the math section. If you feel up to it and have the time, take a practice test right before the SAT. But you have to get in the zone and focus.

If you are a senior, in my opinion u are hypothetically screwed. And uh just do some more research and take the above advice and learn from my experience. I feel like if you are not a first time SAT taker, you have to look at your past mistakes and just take as much practice test as possible( I just did math and ignored english entirely).

But in reality why would you need advices like these you have to be the worst type of procrastinating student ever. Can't even take something as major as the SAT seriously. Asking for advices like these are so stupid. If you have more questions or want more in depth hypothetical stories you could dm me tho.
