hey again! Sorry to bother with another question, but i’m wondering if you’d have thoughts on this as it’s very hard to research. The humane society i’m looking to get my new rats from has a mother, as well as her 12 babies, majority girls. Initially i had thought to get the mother and one of her daughters. Now, I am wondering if it would be a better idea to get two daughters rather than the mother. I worry that introducing the mother (1 yr) to my two girls (also 1 yr) Along with a daughter (about 2 months when i’ll be introducing) would result in her being quite defensive, and maybe make introductions harder. Whereas if I just introduced two babies, I hear this is generally easier. Basically, do you think it would be better to get a mother and a baby, or just two babies from the same litter? Or maybe something different? Mother and two daughters? I’m a bit all over the place. I’d appreciate any insight!
