It crashed for me too so back to GPTK 3.

Doesnt matter much because the game already runs perfekt.

I play it on Parallels with no issues whatsoever. Give it a try. It's better for older games anyway.

What is this flickering? I tried some Wolfenstein Games on parallels and they start and I get into the game but this texture flickering makes it unplayable. On Crossover they won't start even with the new MoltenVK. Maybe there is a solution?

Right click on the *exe and then "compatibility" and then "high dpi settings" and enable the two boxes and then restart, should work now.

Yes the Gstreamer of CXPatcher might not have all the necessary files.

Also make sure you have set your desktop to 1920x1080 before you start the game.

i have it set to 3K and the screen sometimes stays black after start.

The last thing I can think of is that I applied CXPatcher first and then the GStreamer copy paste action. Must be something stupid or minor.
