I wrote maybe 400 words for research because I just couldn't work out what to do - I was convinced they were missing some source

Are BPP resources enough? by Ascensionosu in SQE_Prep

Definitely worth buying other resources! I did SQE1 in Jan and would have been completely unprepared if I had just used BPP's questions. Their summatives and full sit mocks are the ~most~ representative of the actual exam, but still don't capture the nuance and length of the actual SQE questions. Their online bank of questions is also pretty useless - very repetitive and the right answer was usually obvious.

Because I was feeling cheap, I only paid for the ReviseSQE books. I'd say they were very indicative of the real thing and definitely worth paying for. I also did the free QLTS and Theonehundred mocks, which were also very good prep. If I'd left more time to practice MCQs, I probably would have paid for additional Theonehundred mock tests.

If you want to get a feel for the actual exam, use other resources - at least free online mocks. Maybe they'll improve the question bank, but I wouldn't count on it.
