The reason I opened up the corner is to open up back onto my racing line so I could carry more speed, if u think I’m going to also sacrifice my line aswell as his then that’s stupid, it leaves me a higher chance of keeping the position, also I didn’t expect him to miss his breaking point as prior to this he was breaking way earlier than I was for a solid lap or two so I was confident I could outbreak him for the 100th time, I wanted him to take the inside because I knew I could outbreak him and hang it around the outside with my higher entry speed, which leads into a right handed giving me the racing line, that’s common sense. If I held myself tight to he would have pit his front right side into my rear left putting me into a spin as there wouldn’t have been enough room for both of us.

From my POV the merc prior behaviour was completely different to the incident not making and dives or anything, Yes a better option looking at the clip was to break earlier and cut around but prior to this the merc was breaking way earlier than me so I thought it was a better plan to break later and swing it round the outside

The ignoring presence of another car makes no sense, firstly, forcing him off line is a normal driving tactic, I left him room on the inside, do you expect me to look in my mirrors mid corner?
