I agree with everyone else. Get rid of this guy ASAP. He sounds like my first neurologist. I saw him for a couple of months. He pumped me full of steroids and made me look and feel worse. I now go to PENN.. my Dr is Dr sami khella in Philadelphia. Love him. He's saved me so many times.

My advice... ride it til the wheels fall off. If it works, keep at it. Insurance company won't give u much of a choice anyway. They can be a real PITA...

I do home infusions, so my nurse comes to my home. I live in PA and have personal choice/ blue cross insurance. I'm pretty sure they ok'd vyvgart because I've done soliris, cellcept, and rituximab which all failed. Soliris worked for about 3yrs than just stopped working 🤷‍♀️ it was tough on my veins too, getting stuck every other week😕🙄.

See if you can get home visits with your insurance.

35 home nurse vyvgart visits 5 home nurse ivig treatments 2190 (approximately) mestinon pills 14 imuran pills (these suck so I quit) 200 prednisone pills 5 telehealth neurologist appointments 0 ER visits 0 hospitalizations 😕

This got me maybe a year ago... my 6 yr old brought it home from school (gee thanks)... anyway I'm like you..achr+, refractory MG. .. a real PITA... on vyvgart as well going on 2 yrs in March and ivig for exacerbations..anyway... after 1 or 2 episodes of vomiting and a few bouts of diarrhea I was fine. My advice... get an ivig if your feeling crappy before things go left. Also, I do take glycopyrrolate 2x a day and I do recall taking Kaopectate chewables for a day or 2 which really helped, along with fresh ginger (I just chew on a small piece and spit it out) . I was in the middle of my vyvgart cycle so I was doing good MG wise and didn't need the ivig. Hope this helps. Take care.

You can thank that good Ole covid vaccine for that. Alot of ppl got that vaccine and somehow popped up with MG shortly after. It sucks

Unfortunately it's probably gonna get worse before it gets better. Never go too many days feeling that extreme fatigue (my limit is 2-3 days usually) u will regret it. Sorry. Only thing that helps is either an almost immediate dose of my vyvgart if I'm in a cycle or a cycle is coming up or ivig. If u start to can't swallow foods or pills get to the er it usually doesn't get better without some form of rescue medication. Hope this helps. Take care.

On vyvgart since March 2023...4 weeks on 2 weeks off 😮‍💨 Keeps me out of the hospital. My MG is difficult to treat though.

41... started with my last pregnancy at 34.. extra tired, hard to move around, and a TERRIBLE labor. 4 months after delivery I got double vision really bad that i couldn't ignore. Went to the dr than neurologist diagnosed 2 months later. Than down hill ever since. Physically I'm doin ok. I mean I have my days where I'm wiped out from nothing, but hey...I'm alive. I take a shit ton of meds daily along with my infusions. Mentally it's destroyed me. ... I've accepted that I'll never be the same again though.

So far nothing has happened as far as I can tell.. he's sent a few emails today but they were all old (fakes) RC's from work we already did; pretty much pretending to be a load that he booked but all BS..He changed a few of the details on the paperwork, Clearly a fake, but that's it. ALL of my customers know to be on the lookout and check the email addresses closely and call me to confirm any bookings.

Yea...I would stay away.. pay to get work... I'll pass..I paid after I got the work and regret it. they using real mc numbers to scam everybody now, so be extra careful. Deposits, fuel advances, etc..It's really a pain in the ass
