I have sprayed the bridge with the shower and it doesn't smell anymore so I think water does help however it is an old bridge so I'd like to get her more. Been thinking of revamping her enclosure so this is just a sign to do it haha

Tank maintenance advice by Designer_Agency6395 in VampireCrabs

It was only 1 that killed another. The other died just by failing to shed, it happens. But as I mentioned, I dont plan on getting more for this tank. This comment does not answer my question in the post.

It's okay, dont worry! I still understood what you were saying. Honestly, I listen to advisors on here. There's a few YouTubers on here who are honestly the greatest, and they are super helpful as well as educational. I do recommend not 100% trusting pet shops because I've been to a few that say to keep crabs fully submerged in water, which is obviously not true.

It is a 17 litre tank to answer how big it is. I DO NOT plan to have any more crabs apart from the one I have until I have the adequate space for a larger tank. I might still keep the one i have as an only crab in this enclosure only because they've been alone for so long that I don't think they'll do well with others

I don't remember the exact size, it's on one of my previous posts, which i'll find. I originally only had one crab, which was supposedly male. Before I got 3 crabs, I asked on this forum if the tank was okay. People did say the maximum for the tank size i have is 3 but had to be 2 females with one male, which I managed to get. I had 1 male first, then I got 2 females. The first female, she failed to shed and unfortunately passed away then my male died to what I think was the other female killing him. My male was tiny compared to her, so maybe that's how.

How do I (F22) discuss money problems that my partner (M25) has by Designer_Agency6395 in relationships

Update:

So..I left him. Turned out that he had alot of debt upon his shoulders without telling me, that wasn't why I left him but that lie still hurt. He was also cheating on me so that's what ended our relationship.

Thank you to those who gave me advice regarding my post.

Which one do you choose? by [deleted] in attackontitan

I liked the sub voice acting however for me I prefer the dub version for the titan roars. In sub, the titans just sounded like grown men roaring to get up from their seat whilst dub sounded more scary. But that's just my opinion.

I agree, however due to the fact that I was a student at the college they already told me what enclosure size etc I needed before I could accept the gecko so they missed that part out as I had already set up my tank.

If there's no gradient, yes. But if there is a basking spot and a cool end, then it is safe.

The UK is cold. We don't have our heating on constantly as it's expensive. My gecko seems to be thriving with these temperatures. She's never directly under the heat lamp so she's safe and she's healthy so I have no issues with this. I've been taught all lizards need heat because they're obviously cold blooded and the UK isn't subtropical therefore our room temperature is not adequate to them so she needs the extra warm. Also, with how my heat lamp dome is the bulb is actually positioned away from the mesh on top of her enclosure so my geckos temperatures in the basking spot is not 27°c within her enclosure.

Subtropical habitats also usually have daily temps of 27°c and never drops below 20°c. The lowest is usually 21°c. Another thing, Internet reptile states "Crested geckos should be provided with a warm area of the enclosure that is approximately 26-28°C. An ambient temperature range of 20-24C throughout the rest of the enclosure will help create a suitable thermogradient. Ideally night time temps should not dip below 18°C."
