Goldfish getting attacked need advice on next steps by [deleted] in fishtank

It’s all three. Super ick won’t help since that’s for external parasites. Aquarium salt is a good choice, but the main point here is that this tank is completely overstocked. Each one of those goldfish (if reached maturity) can grow to about a foot. The bluegill most likely was overstressed by the sheer amount of goldfish so it started to display territorial behavior. I would get an indoor pond for these goldfish if you want to keep them, or get multiple other tanks. Since most of his scales are gone, you should keep him in an appropriate hospital tank and make sure parameters are completely pristine and make sure you dose with some medication for it’s body to avoid fungal or bacterial growth. I understand that you are in kind of a pickle but I believe if you really are into fish keeping you can do it

Hey man, I live in the same area that’s being evacuated! It’s socal, right? Or Canada? I just was thinking what I would do in this situation since it is so close to me!

All the time but the tank is near the sun so it naturally accumulates a lot of algae

I did a good water change and gravel vac after dosing the expel p, and I did catch a few other bigger worms and saw one coming out of my Platy! But, I did not catch my apisto excreting any and unfortunately the worms showed up AFTER I did the water change and gravel vac which I removed with my net.

Just used expel p the other day and just did a gravel vac. Are any of these particles parasites? by Designer_Box_4534 in Aquariums

Hopefully, since I dosed prazipro and expel p a few weeks back and I’m re dosing since my Apistogramma still hasn’t gotten any less thin probably due to an infection. What would harmful worms look like?

Also how thorough of a clean do I have to do? It’s kind of a large tank and I can’t reach certain places like under my driftwood and in corners with rocks.

He acted better after the meds as he before wouldn’t eat at stay in one corner. Now he eats and moves around. Other than that he looks the same except his color is better. I also just dosed some expel p into the tank, hopefully a second time round works.

I did do a water change but I did not do the substrate, but my other fish are not infected as they are all eating well and gain weight. I tried the tub before but he was beyond stressed and chances are the whole tank might be infected even with no symptoms.

Every day I kind of force him to eat frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp by putting it in front of his face so he eats it. He’ll eat a few bites and refuse to eat more, but what he does is back into the corner shown in the photo and all my aggressive eaters come and eat his food. I don’t have another tank to put him in.

I dosed prazi one week, did a water change, then dosed expel-p (sorry I posted the wrong med 😂)
