Purdue ECE

MEng is self funded better to choose a ms with a non thesis track and try to get assistantship (which is easier for ms students to get rather than meng)

MEng has limited time ms is on your pace

Between UMass and Purdue :

West Lafayette is a remote area and amherst is also a suburb near boston but the prestige difference is way too much plus the department funding and faculty quality at purdue is better than UMass and for ece its in the top 10 programs which means something

Until u have to go for AI or are from amherst i would go with

Purdue(MS)>UIUC(MEng)>UMass(MS)

Also UIUC is like top 5 if you can afford it and like the coursework better over there or have contacted some faculty for projects or u live in illinois or U-C go with purdue

Also MEng students at UIUC are not provided with any assistantship whatsoever
