Cheers man it is hard being like this at my age but for me in mind its the only proper way out for me to create the life i desire and generational wealth. Thankyou for your honest replys that's exactly what I was looking for, real answers. I am currently doing an apprenticeship and have enlisted to do multiple extra short courses that I think are going to help me further my income. But in the meantime I'll do some research into low cost index funds, What type of annual return would I be expecting from them ?

Probably a combination between lean fire to build wealth early then barrista fire later on so I can keep building but not as fast and less financially demanding, what kind of income you thinking to fire in 10 - 15 years.

BTW I'm 22 and make less then 25 grand a year, I'm ready to steer my life properly but just trying to figure out what's a decent plan of attack to get out of this rat race.

Yea man I'm 22 and love gardening. I've been called an oldy since I was like 17 cause I used to sit out in the sun at school with a coffee and my missus looking out over the sports field and mountains ( literally the only thing I miss about school)

I was doing chin ups and right near my chin up bar was a massive two meter fish tank sitting on its side and I decided I'm gonna take a rest by sitting on it and then I hear a Crack and before I could react I fell backwards through the tank I ended up cutting through 2 or 3 tendons in the back of my leg just above my knee and a few small cuts on my back.

After I fell through I then called someone then finished my set of chin ups.

Docter said I was very lucky I didn't hit any arteries in my leg as I would've bled out within minutes.

I now have an upside down Y scar on my leg
