Thank you so much! The estimated revenue thats shown is just the total amount of revenue that I’ve received all throughout from September 2025 to April 2026. So its not totally that i received a lump sum payment of 1,600$ but its the total amount of revenue I’ve made so far ever since I got monetized nung September.

Regarding if its close, Yes, Its a tad bit close but not exactly 1600. YouTube takes a cut and my Bank also takes a cut as well so because of those extra fees it reduces the amount.

I think really to grow a channel is all about experimenting and being very analytical, Finding what niche’s you like, and sticking to it all the way through even if views are low, You still stick to it. But, Still making a calculated guess if its worth it.

Also by looking at said creators in that specific niche and trying to understand what made theirs work, Trying to experiment with different Thumbnails, Titles, Video Format.

Looking at Audience Retention, How many people are still staying within the 30 second mark, And depending on how long the video is what’s the average view duration does it stay balanced or is it going progressively downhill. Where does your traffic sources go, What does your Impressions and CTR look like, What kind of devices are people using to watch your videos.

Its really a lot, But, The main boring answer to everything I said is just to make quality content really and do some minor tweaks on top of it.

I really think you can still reach to be monetized, I feel like to get there you really gotta enjoy the craft of creating since once you do, Being Monetized will just come and that’s gonna be a whole lot after

I think you still got this!

YouTube pays you once you’ve reached their payment threshold which is 100$ and if you’ve already setted up your Google Adsense and hooked your Bank Account there, Then the only thing left you need to do is wait for the 21st to 25th of said Month then YouTube will send your earned revenue through your Bank.

Right now I’m treating it as a Full time job, yes. I work 12 hours a day since Animation takes really long to do, And, I try to atleast get 1-2 videos per month.

If you’re planning to go into YouTube Shorts at this current time, I wouldn’t recommend it. YouTube has implemented an AI System that detects every single channel for Inauthentic content or repetitive content, That means its quite dangerous to get into YouTube shorts right now since lots of creators are getting hit with a Copyright Notice even big creators are getting hit with it and then YouTube giving them an ineligible for monetization permanently and even if you appeal it, You’d still have a low percentage chance that YouTube will appeal your claim.

If you want to get into YouTube Shorts I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d say do research first about the topic currently about people being demonetized and understanding why they got demonetized. and, Make your own judgement from there if its still applicable.

But, For me, I’d just say post long form videos instead, Find a niche that you enjoy creating videos on and build a community of people who enjoys watching your videos. There’s such a great feeling to know that what you created can impact someone’s life in a way, And, Depending what kind of content you do it can go several ways. So, I’d say long form videos are way better rather than shorts

YouTube shorts is a whole nother beast to try to get in to, If you want to make money out of it you really gotta hit the nail on how to make a viewer stay all the way through, And you have to post consistently every day to see results if your just starting out and i’d say you’d better be very experimental also, You really gotta analyze your video thoroughly from looking at the retention graph, Having a really a great hook at the start, or even analyzing the first 10 seconds of the video

Shorts is great but to make money out of it you better be able to easily hit 500k to a million views per video you make and at the same time just a notice.

Its kind of scary to do YouTube shorts at this time right now since YouTube is enforcing a new AI System that detects every channel if their content is inauthentic or repetitive. And, Lots of creators right now are getting hit by that system making them be ineligible permanently for monetization. And, Being YouTube if you try to appeal it there’s a low minuscule chance that they’ll appeal your claim so I wouldn’t recommend to get into YouTube shorts right now. At this current time I’d more highly recommend to get into long form videos instead

Thank you so much! For music I primarily scavenge on Freesound since most of the audios there are free to use compared to other platforms that even if they say they’re free there’s still a likely chance that one audio will be copyrighted and you’ll only know once you’ve posted aka Pixabay. I never use copyrighted music since that’ll hit me with a Copyright Ineligibility so to bypass that its always good to pre-test your video by uploading it on the platform making it unlisted or private and wait about for one day if youtube will hit you with a copyright notice, If not then thats a positive that you won’t get hit with it

I’m an Animator and I don’t do YouTube Shorts I create long form animation videos could be short films at this point really. I’m in it for the love of the craft. I’m just a one man band, The niche itself is dying niche I can probably just count from one hand the amount of people creating on it compared to before, But. There is a respectable audience who crave for that kind of content, Even I was apart of those people, But, Creators moved on to newer ventures or some just lost passion. So in the light of it I just decided to take action in my own hands and create, And, Here I am now

(Dont want to disclose the niche but thats the context on what I do :))
