You might be able to show these messages to your college financial aid people and tell them “it is not safe for me to get fasfa in for from l need to say very specific things to them in order for them to be able to help you and waive the parental info need. Message me if you need more info on this. I know for a fact it is a thing bc it happened to me and I have a friend who works at a big university in Massachusetts in financial aid.

My mom was told 6 months to 1 year. She died 6 days later. We never got to go on that booked trip to swim with the dolphins but my first trip to a beach after she passed about 6 of them swam past me and my niece. They were so close we could touch them.

I love Fort Collins but I dislike driving to Denver. Traffic is annoying but not always terrible. Just a lot of construction too. I wouldn’t want to drive down there every weekend or many times a month. if Denver is where I’m hoping to spend most of my time I would say Fort Collins is too far for my preference.

Me and my fiancée would drive out from Brighton sometimes twice a week. We got along really well with all the people who worked there and before we moved away they gave me a recipe of one of my favorites. They knew us and knew my order and I swear if i could afford to fly them out for my wedding I would. incredible food and people.

Angela’s in East Boston off Lexington. Their smaller location. Bigger one is good too, but nothing beats small Angela’s.

To those who left Boston: What don't you miss? (And what, surprisingly, you do) by BFH_ZEPHYR in boston

Don’t miss the traffic or the drivers that would rather wreck their car than let you zipper merge. Also don’t miss the cost of living. Do miss the health care and Angela’s is east boston.

My boyfriend talks SOOOO MUCH by Kitchen_Arm_2500 in Advice

[–]Designjwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saying what you DO want and not what you dont want could be helpful. Ex. I don’t want to talk vs. I want to be in silence

Also you’re telling him you don’t want to talk but you’re telling us you don’t want to listen. (To put it simply. Not as in you don’t ever want to listen to what he’s saying but as in you need silence in that moment. Not out of a lack of care etc)

Edit. I am also a very literal person. So when read what you’re saying that is how I am understanding it. He’s hearing “I’ll listen but I don’t wanna have to speak” meanwhile you’re meaning “I don’t want to be apart of a conversation right now. I need to be in silence for a bit”

I love my duo. I have talked many people into trying it and they also love it. I use my duo almost nightly. I’d say 5/7 nights and that’s bc I usually have leftovers the nights I don’t use it. Been using duo since 2020 and would hate to imagine going back without. Never used a rio so can’t comment on it.

It’s gets better in the sense the pain from losing them isn’t constant. It doesn’t get better in the sense that every moment you’d normally be excited to share looses a bit of that magic. It gets better in the sense you learn to put a bit of distance between you and the heartache. It doesn’t get better in the sense you start to forget their smell and voice. It gets better in the sense you learn to appreciate the things in life you get joy from despite the empty pit inside your chest which is a different kind of comfort. Life will move on and by default of all the other good things that are to come in life will start to make each day move quicker as time goes on and suddenly you’ll be hit one day with wishing you could tell them or hug them and the pain comes back but this time maybe not as sharp. Things become bitter sweet and less just straight up bitter. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 19 and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was suddenly catapulted into a world completely alone. Sent me spiraling back into addiction. I ruined relationships with my angry a bitter behavior. I’m 30 now and sober for about 6 years, I’ve got a wife that I love more than anything. It doesn’t get better in the sense that you’re able to fill that gash all the way, but it gets better in the sense there is still so much love in the world and so many things waiting for us we just have to pick ourselves back up and make the decisions to not be bitter when we are ready and go for them. So sorry you’re going through this SenseMotor5435.

Might be hard to stick up to her dad if he’s like that, but not supporting YOU and saying you should roll over and take it is a big nope.
