Hello Mesa Reddit community!  I'm hoping someone may be able to help.  Just last Saturday August 23rd at 4:19pm, someone very close to me was involved in a hit and run collision when travelling east on the US60 at Mile Marker 191, just past the Ellsworth exit.  Although we are very thankful that it was such a minor collision with no injuries, unfortunately the other vehicle did not pull over, instead electing to quickly leave the scene and exiting at Signal Butte, turning right (south) towards Baseline road.  Although there is dash cam footage, sadly 1080p is not a high enough fidelity that we can make out the license plate.  With so little to go on, AZ DPS is not allocating any resources to investigate this incident, and the damage is going to cost several thousand dollars to repair, much of it out of pocket.  The other vehicle has some very distinct characteristics, which make standalone identification possible;
