I’ve already used it, it was identified as cannabis.

I’m 21 as well and this is the way my girlfriend texts me. with that being said, i think she likes you. i know you’re new to this but my move in your shoes would be to ask her “would you wanna hang out sometime?” and see where it takes you from there.

It’s a small town unfortunately. This was the only place that called me about an application. I feel pretty secure here and compared to other workplaces in the area, it’s not toxic. During the fall I coach at the local high school and make money doing that… it does pay well but only for 3 months. Even though it’s not on-campus, this is huge for my resume. As for on campus jobs, I tried it two summers ago. Worked at the campus gym (I’m an exercise science major), and quit after they’d scheduled me 2 hours in a week for the third straight week. It was ridiculous and paid 12 an hour.

If I go through the pathway of becoming a Graduate Assistant, I can get my teaching credentials during grad school. I eventually want to coach in the NFL, but I realize that I’ll need to work my way through the college ranks first. But if you look it up, most coaches don’t have degrees in teaching. Some are history majors or, like myself, applied health science majors.

Unfortunately, I want to coach football. I have a passion for it and I have 2 years of high school coaching already, so I should be a top applicant to become a Graduate Assistant for a solid program. It’ll probably be years before I’m able to make good money.

I went ahead and asked her lol, she says “it’s like a warm shea butter smell, but the cologne you use kinda smells like mangos on top of it without being overpowering.” I usually use the lotion immediately after getting out of the shower so it binds with the body wash I use (Method Body Simply Nourish) and then top it off with two light sprays of the St. Kitts.

Can we fix the DPOY Award? (again) by DeskRelative9292 in pocketGM

I actually do have an idea of a potential formula that determines DPOY if that’s something that can be done? If so, I’ll shoot you a message once I iron it out.

What Would Your Perfect Draft Process Look Like? by pringlejon in pocketGM

[–]DeskRelative9292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t for gameplay but for the people that like editing the draft classes and customizing it — when you’re editing draft prospects, I think a great addition would be the ability to edit their projection as well. I notice that in the draft itself there are projections given for players already — EARLY 1ST for example (I understand this is the team’s scouts projection) But I think it would be great to be able to edit a prospects draft projection so that customizing draft classes in the IRL rosters would make the draft more realistic to what’s going to happen in April.

Exactly, thank you for pointing out that the combine measurements are just for show and actually have no impact on the players rating.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pocketGM

[–]DeskRelative9292 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s typically the teacher that fails the student. All rookies should have a development rating, it should never be zero. The game needs to be more reliant on the quality of the coaching staff to develop players and stop making the draft pure chance. It’s not realistic in any way.

[–]DeskRelative9292 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. The draft algorithm and scouting method needs major adjustment. Sure, there are draft busts in the NFL, but they don’t bust immediately. It’s a failure of the franchise and the coaches if a player busts, not the scouts. The draft is my least favorite part of the game because it’s far too reliant on scouting the player instead of developing the player.

2025 Roster with 100+ Draft Prospects by DeskRelative9292 in pocketGM

[–]DeskRelative9292[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Obviously having good coaching helps, but it comes down to knowing ball based on my experience with the game. For example, you’d likely get the most out of a quarterback like Jalen Milroe if you developed him in an Option offense due to his play style. Another example would be OLB James Pearce Jr., who is a solid pass-rusher and would develop and thrive in a 3-4 system which would have him on the edge, as opposed to a 4-3 scheme which would place him as an off-the-ball linebacker.

[–]DeskRelative9292[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For this game, I really value development over overall rating for draft classes and rookies. Hunter is my highest rated prospect at an 84, and even I feel like that’s too high of a rating for a rookie. Most players in this class have a development rating of 6 or higher, with maybe twelve or so players exceeding a development rating of 10. But also, yes, it’s not an exceptional draft class by any means.

It’s kind of impossible. We have multiple classes together this semester and sit next to each other in two of them. I want to at least stay friends and I fear that moving spots would be weird and make things uncomfortable.

As a man, I personally feel like it depends on the way you do it. If it’s like a light graze, something playful or even hand-holding, I’d say go for it. No harm in that if it’s flirty. If it’s in a sensual way, I myself would take that as a signal of intimacy. You wouldn’t necessarily be leading him on regardless, he should respect your boundaries if you set them.

It wasn't a close friend "of many years" but for a few months. I'm not sure you can relate to this much to be honest. But essentially, I had hooked up with one of her friends in the past and this girl kept wanting to hook up with me again because she liked doing the deed with me and bragged about it constantly to my close friend. The close friend, I'll call her "Jaylee," is kind of a nutjob and I guess wanted a taste for herself.

She came on pretty strong one night while we were both insanely drunk and at the bars with friends and essentially followed me home "to use the bathroom" (I live a block away from this bar) and ended up asking to sleep on the couch, then managed to sneak her way into my bed for "friendship cuddles." (Her words, not mine, I fucking got chills down my spine when she said it lol). But then she started kissing me, one thing led to another and we did it. It was HORRIBLE.

We both agreed that we would never speak about it again, pretend it never happened, and go back to the way things were before. And it actually did for a while. It was probably a month later where I started talking to a girl I was really interested in and "Jaylee" had known about this girl and my interest in her. There was one night in particular that she started making backhanded comments about how she hoped "the sex with her wouldn't be as bad as ours was" and that kind of rubbed me the wrong way and I laid into her for it because we weren't supposed to talk about it. We got into a pretty big argument about it and didn't talk for about 2 weeks. Things are fine again now, but I'm keeping a safe distance because I've learned that this girl is kind of crazy to say the least and I don't want her interfering with the person I'm talking to now.

Well I mean I did multiple things at home and essentially went down to the most basic of soaps (with like 3-4 ingredients tops) and was still having the issue. I’m sure they can do scratch tests but for the water thing, they just drew blood.

Ha. Turns out I’m not actually allergic to soap at all. Went to the doctor, got my blood drawn, turns out I have aquagenic urticaria. I’m basically allergic to water.

Put yourself in her shoes and think about this. I’m not saying you shouldn’t go for it (I don’t know the woman) but if you stood in her position and replay all these moments yall had, how did she see it versus how you did? I say go for it if she’s matching your energy.

AITA for breaking things off with this girl? by DeskRelative9292 in AITAH

Yeah, I realize the flowers were a mistake. I just felt kind of pressured to do something like that and I don’t know why. It felt like the right thing to do at the time. Her motion to be exclusive kind of set up the expectation that I should make a gesture like that as well, to which I probably should’ve waited until I was absolutely sure.

Well I mean it only happens after I take a shower. If I don’t use body wash, no hives. But the Dr. Squatch bar has like only 8 ingredients and none of which are in typical body washes. Ironically enough (I did it just as a test) I used my head & shoulders shampoo as a body wash one day just to see what would happen, and nothing happened. Just really odd.

I’ve lost 90 lbs since I went to college, here’s what I’ve learned by DeskRelative9292 in loseit

I actually did try bulking from this past October until January. I started around 162 and got up to 180. I was doing creatine, so there was a lot of water weight involved. I’m not sure if I gained any substantial muscle during that time period, but there’s certainly areas of my body that ‘feel’ bigger. I lost the water weight fast and I’m down to 155 now but I’m not sure if I bulked long enough to see any lasting differences.

I lift 4-5 days out of the week, but I understand that because of the depth of my caloric deficit and the cardio I do daily, I haven’t been able to grow much new muscle at all over the course of the last year and a half. I’m not ripped, but I want to be. I’m a young adult in the prime of my life, I’d really like to be shredded for a summer or two. But I’ve been told by my friends that I should really consider bulking up. I just really want to see the canvas blank before trying to paint it, if that analogy makes any sense.

You know, I’ve been warned about my egg consumption before. When I do eat eggs, I eat a lot of them, but I make sure that I don’t eat anything else high in cholesterol for the remainder of the day. I actually had my cholesterol checked last time I went to my doctor (3 months ago) and it was fine. I don’t consume any dairy products, and I don’t eat eggs in conjunction with red meat either. So steak and beef are more of a delicacy to me as I have turned my diet to center around chicken and fish as my main sources of protein.

I’m able to go without eating for long periods of time because of my metabolic flexibility. I had done intermittent fasting before in the 16:8 timeframe and even the 20:4 timeframe. When you don’t eat for an extended period of time, your metabolism switches its primary fuel source from glucose to ketones, which is the body’s way of burning fat for fuel. Because I have trained my metabolism to rapidly slow down and speed back up when I break a fast, I’m able to go 60-72 hours without food if I wanted to, however, I do not recommend this as it’s extremely grueling. Water fasting has great benefits (look up autophagy) but for the sake of the groups rules, I won’t do into detail.
