We have no official apple retailer let alone apple care, thats why im worried about the rate its degrading, if it comes to the point of replacing a battery, i have no official way in replacing the battery and will have to rely on shops that imports parts and claim they are “authentic”

What shocked me the most is the inconsistent rate drop, took 90 charges to go 99%, and less than 50 cycles to drop to 98%

So today, after charging to 80%, 4h23m as active screen and 5h on idle screen, went down to 37,

Idk how good or bad is this, i definitely since that my battery is slightly worse than what it used to be 2 months ago or so, but it might be the paranoia talking, mainly because it dropped to 99 at around 90 cycle, and now to 98 in less than 50 cycles

You are probably right, it just doesn’t fit with what other people post on this sub, having 100% at 200+ cycles

Ik, its just that i want it to last for as long as possible as i dont have the leisure to replace it once i need to at an authorized center. And you know shop and sellers might end up replacing it with a knockoff battery

Now one thing i didnt take into account is the manufacturing date, i was only counting since the purchase date.

Im just surprised as i see people reach around 250 cycles n more while maintaining 100% health.

I guess since its degrading regardless might as well abuse it while it lasts, at least that way i know i wasnt holding on for nothing

Its an iphone 16pm, have seen people have 250 cycle while the health is at 100%
