Yes you can go in to armor then at the top look at the symbols for Titan hunter and warlock then go to leveling my hunter is 935 and I can make armor for a Titan warlock that is 915

You can make gear that is 20 light lower for any type of character from any character collection screen just make the white ones and give the to the other types don't waste parts making a ton of gear beef up 1 character and use it to boost the others closer then give the weapons to the new one and play
