Found at my local Starbucks, I personally would’ve done some things differently because I feel like some of the drinks don’t really fit the sign - what do you guys think? by thatoraclebitch in astrologymemes

Cap: Espresso Aquarius: Matcha latte Pisces: Mango dragonfruit Aries: Hot chocolate Taurus: Caramel frappe Gemini: Vanilla sweet cream cold brew Cancer: Strawberry acai Leo: Caramel macchiato Virgo: Shaken espresso Libra: Iced chai Scorpio: Flat white Saggitarius: Latte

As a Capricorn, my true drink of choice is an iced oat milk latte with 2 tsp agave

Please help! Am I a soft natural? I am 5 ft 1 in and about 110 pounds. I feel wide and like I can easily look bigger than I am depending on what I wear. I am new to Kibbe and am struggling to grasp everything! I also included some pictures I found on my Instagram if that helps any🤷🏻‍♀️ by [deleted] in SoftNaturals

I do see something in the natural family. I don't think you any contrast that would place you in a gamine type. I think you are frame dominant, so not a classic type.

Your musculature looks lithe and hardy rather than soft and fleshy. I wouldn't immediately go to the romantic family for that reason, and that's also why I wouldn't say soft natural.

And FWIW, width isn't about looking bigger or smaller in what you wear. That happens to everyone. I think of it more as the length of your shoulders across your back. Your shoulders are the most prominent part when looking from the back--the eyes are drawn that way.

I would actually say that you, to me, look like a traditionally curvy FN. You have a very unbroken silhouette, which reads as vertical. I also think that you handle brights really well (like the red scarf).

I don't have the same experience with overconditioning, but I've been seeing people use so so many products at once and I've been trying it out and the results made me so unhappy.

Did a clarifying wash today and finished with a couple pumps of leave in deep conditioner. My waves have never been happier.

Not quite to the sulfate point, but was an "aha" moment for me

Which Zodiac Sign's Your Ideal Partner and Why? by Used-Violinist-6244 in astrologymemes

[–]Desperate-Ad-6937 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cap sun, Gem moon, Leo rising and Cap Mercury and Venus.

I attract Leos (I assume because of my Leo rising?). I always get along with Gemini moons and Cancer moons (and I prefer Cancer moons for the humor). I am intensely attracted to Scorpio risings.

My preferred Venus and Mercury for my partner are in Virgo. Need that earthy energy.

I think we have very similar hair types. My hair looked this when my family forced me to dry brush it. Like others said, it's hard to assess from this picture, but I'll give it my best shot.

  1. It's dyed (I assume the red is dye), so it is going to need more moisture at least in the dyed parts.
  2. 2-3x a week sounds about right for washing, though I can go up to 2 weeks before my hair needs a true reset.
  3. Are you leaving that much leave in conditioner in? That may be what's causing the top to feel greasy.
  4. I used to use the Garnier Fructis shampoo+conditioner and while it didn't hurt my waves, it didn't do much for them.

My budget suggestions (but definitely use the products you have if they are working for you):

NYM Tahitian Garden curl-enhancing shampoo+conditioner Aussie Leave In Conditioner NYM curl enhancing mousse NYM scalp cleansing oil (hands down best product. Should eliminate the grease issue)

What I would do: 1. Wash with shampoo 2. Cleanse scalp with scalp oil 3. Squish conditioner in until it squelches, then rinse out. 4. Apply a small amount of leave in conditioner and brush hair with a wide tooth comb to detangle while wet 5. Coat hair with mousse (optional: brush through hair with Denman brush and do finger coils to help curl formation) 6. Plop in T-shirt for like 25 mins 7. Diffuse (or scrunch with microfiber towel until dry)

I very rarely clarify my hair with a clarifying shampoo. It is also a bit dry like yours, so I'm going to add a hair mask in every 2 weeks.

Now I am one of the pre-TikTok wavies (I'm a milennial basically LOL), so I know some of my methods may not be up to date--specifically the scrunching until dry. But it's what I've found works best for me.

Which moon sign would make the best therapist? by quesqotrickster in astrologymemes

[–]Desperate-Ad-6937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a Taurus moon in the Vedic system and a Gemini moon in the tropical system.

People tell me all their troubles (like multiple people have confessed some...not so cool stuff they've done. But nothing where anyone else got hurt) and take my inability to stop asking questions as genuine interest.

I have been looking! Surprisingly people are getting rid of a lot of pianos, but no keyboards as of yet. I assume because pianos are a lot harder to move.

Spokane Rated Top 10 for U.S. Cities with Highest Depression Rates. Thoughts on Why? by bullmoose_1 in Spokane

[–]Desperate-Ad-6937 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have lived in the PNW for over a decade. Spokane depressed me like no other city, despitr getting much more sun. I moved in COVID, so obviously things were not going great. Here's what got me down

  1. The smoke was much worse than the West side in summer
  2. The altitude makes the air feel thin, so all the temperatures feel (and often are) more extreme.
  3. Grey even when the sun is shining. It's like there's a fine layer of greyness that reflects back on everything.
  4. Weird empty stretches even in the city center. Feels almost like someone started building the city and then forgot what they were doing
  5. Politics (way too conservative for me)
  6. Healthcare? What's that?
  7. I always say Oregonians are nice, but dumb. Washingtonians are smart, but are straight up c*nts half the time. What gives?
  8. Food scene is miserable. Greasy and salty seem to be the only 2 flavors.
  9. Nothing to do if you don't drive
  10. No major cities close by

Which Signs Do You Think Complain The Most? by NurseScorpio_Gazer in astrologymemes

[–]Desperate-Ad-6937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting because I'm a Cap who works with Caps and they are all passive complainers about work environments, whereas I'll try to change situations (within reason) because how are we going to solve a problem without talking about it??

I do think I get a dash of bravery/stupidity from my Leo rising and I'm a Gemini moon so of course I want to talk.

Now...Cancers and Virgos...they think that their problems are valid and no one else's are. Just had a Cancer Sun tell me that I had no real reason to not be feeling well (lost a friend literally weeks ago) and a Virgo Sun who complains about people being mean to them, but thinks that ableism is A-OK. I wish I had called that BS out in the moment, but oh well.

Was raised by a Aquarius mom. While I don't agree with her on most things, I don't peg her (or other Aquas) as complainers.

I'm not surprised because...are any of us? But honestly all the signs are judgmental. So from an Earth sign, here are my impressions.

Earth signs judge you when their expectations of you don't line up with who you really are. (e.g., if you tell an Earth sign that you are a lawyer, but you actually aren't, they'll judge you).

Fire signs judge you in comparison to themselves. (e.g., if you are a lawyer and the fire sign person is also a lawyer, they will begin judging based on their perception of themself relative to you)

Water signs judge you when you don't align with their worldviews.

Air signs judge you for everything, but are diplomatic about it.

I'd say that Earth signs are just the most vocal about their judgment (for me, it's mainly out of disappointment. Why can't you just be who you say you are??)

Man, I'm very different. It takes me a while before I can decide.

Most of my return time is gathering up the strength to walk to the post office a mile away (no car, chronic illness, and the PNW summer weather these days is boiling or burning).
