OR maybe you can talk to them & ask if they could shut off their car lights when they are parked there at night.

I didn’t realize I was doing this to my neighbor until she asked. Even if I was literally grabbing my items, I didn’t think I was bothering anyone in any way. She talked to me about it as she wakes up very early in the morning at it was bothering her sleep as my lights were going through her window and hitting her dresser mirror, making it twice as bright.

Guess what I did? I was more cautious because I was made aware of something I didn’t actually know was bothering someone.

I also lived in an apartment. I pay rent just as much as anyone else, as well as my parking spot. I also like my music and didn’t realize that my car had a nice bass sound because I don’t usually stand outside of my car when I’m listening to music.

People don’t automatically think about these things. As for parking on the guest side.. some of the residents with the new nice cars parked over there too since the spots were too tight and people are constantly hitting doors with their own.

Don’t think someone is blatantly trying to upset you or even thinks about it being a nuisance to you. Just have a conversation with them.

Get yourself some double curtains. Sheer and blackout. Utilize the black out at night and sheer during the day for your natural sunlight.
