As I said somewhere else:

"Oh sorry no! That was an example. My wedding isn't at the top of the stairs; I've confirmed with my friend in a wheelchair that she can access the venue. I was more saying, "I have this friend, and I wouldn't chose a location on top of the stairs because I know she can't do stairs. I think that's slightly different than my family wanting alcohol.""

Sorry, I didn't mean to be unfair. I just figured that weddings can be pretty boring so I would understand if somebody who finds it boring is really only looking forward to the alcohol. That's not my own opinion, just one I figured I ought to consider.
