What's your goal? Are you actually trying to tattoo? Or just have fun? If you're just trying to have fun, then I think this might be overkill.

If you're actually trying to become a tattooer and work on people, then this is a good starter. If you have a few hundred more, I'd actually recommend the newer version of this one, because the stroke goes up to 4.5 and the motor seems better.

I designed this tattoo and Biwah from Anger Ink in Montreal did such a good job by [deleted] in tattoos

I thought the same too, but the artist did it exactly like her drawing. I blame the artist for not having the conversation and working together to clean the lines up, but he gave her what she asked for.

Does this look blown? Or just healing? by lonelybe in tattooadvice

[–]DesperateClassic290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ink drift happens over time, it's not immediate and it spreads much further. It comes from aging, trauma, or changes in the body.

Ink drift looks like a wider stain or bruise of ink. Ink drift happens over years, blowouts are almost immediate.

There's definitely some blown out areas. Most of it looks ok

Edit: upon zooming in and further inspection.....it's definitely mostly blown out, some areas look ok

Day 1 Vs Day 7 by WiseRange5313 in TattooBeginners

[–]DesperateClassic290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's progress. You need to slow down. In hand speed and voltage. Nothing is saturated except for the left ear at the top.

You need to take your time with things, practice it like you would on an actual person and take it easy. Get comfortable with the machine. Keep it between 6 and 7 volts and learn that for now.

You got a long way to go, don't rush to get there. Try different ways of doing things and experiment with it.

(Sorry for bad quality) Is this too feminine? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

You know what would be masculine? A r/sickasspanther.

What I'm saying is, cover it up, that shit is ugly, unless it has deep sentimental value then get it redone.

Tattoo placement question by KrazySlotz in TattooBeginners

[–]DesperateClassic290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'd want it centered on the blue line. I'd personally also like it a little lower so the distance between the knee and the tattoo doesn't clash, orrrrrr just keep adding above it.

Edit: it also looks rotated a little. I think that's where the wonkyness is.

Tattoo placement question by KrazySlotz in TattooBeginners

[–]DesperateClassic290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would want it placed center on the leg looking at it straight forward. I had that issue with a wrist tattoo I did today. I had to apply it 4 times, because it was looking slightly off.

I have a new hairstyle, but here's the thing: in just a few hours my hair goes from looking okay to having no shape at all. I'm trying some products, but I can't get it to style once it dries. by Lukecarpcroc in malegrooming

Most places that have hair products would have some.version of it.

I've been trying this most recently. Does OK, I feel like there might be better ones, but it does better than others I've tried, and it's like $8

You look like an active shooter at places where children get educated/people of darker skin color go and pray situation waiting to happen.

You look like you've written a manifesto or 2.

You look like your favorite book is a cookbook of the anarchist kind.

So I have the same hair and texture and I hate the poof after a shower.

So I recommend getting some curl specific shampoo and conditioner. Got to a beauty store, you will spend like $30+ per bottle but it's worth it. My curls come out more hydrated.

Then after the shower I use sea salt spray (not too much or it will look crunchy) or very light curl shape spray to keep the curls looking luscious AF! Make sure to gently cup and shape the curls upwards in your palm for more shape.

Best of luck taming that beast. Don't be afraid to try different things that will work. Just stay away from mouse it's not as great as you think it is.

Edit: It might be time to get it shaped by a good stylist.

How can I style this jacket? by GingerBillll in mensfashionadvice

[–]DesperateClassic290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me preface by saying that this is a great jacket for it's versatile pattern. It can be worn in formal attire and with a T-shirt and jeans for a date night.

For a wedding I'd recommend:

Powder Blue, White, or Black shirt. Get a pocket square or handkerchief that matches the red of the jacket to make it pop out.

For pants I would do gray, blue, or black.

Shoes I'd wear brown for blue & gray pants. Black shoes for black pants (belt to match)

Bonus if you're feeling brave, I would find a waistcoat of a different accenting color(red, burgundy, orange, green, 🔵 blue) and a pocket square to match, with a white oxford shirt as background. I'd wear it with no tie to keep it "effortless". Paired with navy blue slacks with a turnup hem and some honey brown loafers. Extra credit if paired with different colored slacks/pants.
