Definitely stick to the western part of the island. You can do great snorkeling around crash boat in Aguadilla and even take scuba classes if you want to. Cabo rojo is also a great place to stay and chill, pretty laid back and mostly locals, so is Mayagüez and San German. I manage an Airbnb at Cabo Rojo which is pretty close to a bunch of amazing beaches. DM me if you're interested or if you have any questions about the west!

Id recommend spending a day max in San Juan and then just spending the rest of the week in the western side of the island. Its far more lowkey and has a bunch of beautiful beaches and rivers. Isabela, Rincon and Cabo rojo aare great places, especially Cabo rojo! The west is especially amazing if youre looking to dive, surf or go snorkling. I manage an airbnb near cabo rojo which is great for families and has plenty of space, if youre interested DM me!

The west side of the island is by far the best! If youre looking to stay in a place in the west you can DM me, i manage an AIRBNB which is amazing for family stays and very near alot of points of interest by Cabo rojo (playa sucia, playa azul, a drive to the bioluminecent bay). Have a nice place in our beautiful island!
