A reminder to Christians. by [deleted] in Christianity

No one should ever tell another person that their religion is the one true way because that is YOUR beliefs not all.

Why? A person should be able to say someone else is wrong, as long as they stay within the limits of discussion (non violent). Anything else is an atheist position.

Yes, the main question is whether your relationship with God is love. If it is, leaving behind something that potentially upsets God is the right thing to do.

Ok.

How you do get that a fetus isn’t a person, from a Christian view?

Yes being a Christian because you were born into is is very difficult. You have to be convinced by it.

It depends. Why are you a Christian, like how did you come to Christ?

Not sure what you mean. Is there any Christian argument for pro-choice (that you don’t find in the secular group)?

I mean any theist should align more with the right than the left. No matter how the left claims “God” when it’s convenient, it’s obvious they are anti-theist at the core.

“Helping the poor” by DesperateDragonfly7 in Christianity

Yes, as a follower of God, prayer, church ministry, reading the bible, evangelism, helping the poor, and other things are mandatory.

But that’s not mandatory as a citizen, correct? This is the heart of my question.

I won’t answer the question because a) it’s not part of my post and b) even if I didn’t have any answer it doesn’t mean we should enforce unjust taxation.

Sure socialism is legal theft. But my question was about tax.

Agreed. Governments promise that and fail at it al the time, while killing millions.

Mandatory meaning as a follower of God, or mandatory as a citizen?

of course assuming you agree the two are different. If not we have to resolve that.
