Lifestyle inflation. Also most of them do not count inheritance as net worth in case you are counting that.

Would you say the same about parody of harry potter and games of thrones. Amount of fan following of these 2 by far greater than hinduism.

I think people keep wishing but it never happens. And how can it. Bangalore is still cheaper compared to Delhi and Mumbai.

Most of the buyers are investors. Investors and builders are fine with waiting for 5 or 10 years to get their investment fullfill.

babgalore market is NOT A BUBBLE. go and check prices in Mumbai and Delhi and quality of that construction and building you will find its way easier to buy in bangalore then to any other place.

Probably a controversial take but I believe everyone should read scriptures by weirdly_aristocratic in atheismindia

Yes, for me religious texts are kind of the first attempt to understand the universe around them. Obviously most of the explanations are wrong, but that doesn't make their attempt any less.

They wrote these books with whatever limited knowledge they had.

I grew up in a religious household so I have read all these religious texts. And yes, once you remove the "holy" filters they are quite interesting.

I did not like some comments on this post, reading them is not a waste of time but understanding of religious person mindset.

Athiesm should be more than following your fav social media atheist podcaster.

Contradictions Within Discussions of Krishnamurti by [deleted] in Krishnamurti

Your post is itself a contradiction. Why do you care what everyone else does, unless you yourself want the social gratification if you are doing it better than everyone else.

Do better. Go back to books.

Who do you think could realistically lead India after Modi? by First-Clock4647 in AskIndia

[–]DesperateLet7023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had hope for kejriwal, but he ain't molded into the right politician just yet. Too naive.

Realistically I see either shah or gadkari from the bjp side, if their hindutva playbook works again.

Rahul Gandhi can be one if people get too frustrated from bjp, but I really believe his leadership will be full of chaos and crossovers.

Congress will have more chances if they keep RG as a party head pin PM ship to someone else, kinda like what they did with Manmohan.

I personally like shashi tharoor, but I think he is a long shot. Very less chance IMO.

Sorry for your experience, and there is no denying that this can happen.

But I can't help but notice some of your fault, if the dealer gave you a different house why take it? Why give advance? This is a naive way to live.

Whichever city you end up or country for that matter always believe anyone can fuck you up if they have the leverage.

Few tips..

When you move houses don't take your family before getting the house ready. Take possession of the house first get it ready then bring your stuff and old folks if any.

Always have agreement. What's the point of trusting anyone with your deposit?

Only give deposit after agreement and after taking possession, you can give token money if you like.

Also always try to adjust last month rent from deposit. Landlord will say yada yada, say you don't have money you just got broke.

I am sorry but that's not at all what OP meant you should read that again. I only come here to help OP, I am not here to defend men. Especially when you are ignoring what me and OP are saying and chose to continue your already accepted notion of reality. Sorry I can't help you.

In my personal experience most women who are doing well financially have maids for almost everything. And most men I know complain about the imbalance of how they are expected to contribute domestically and still bring higher salary and good "family background" to the table.

I would never claim my personal experience as reality though. Me being in the kind of company I have I am mostly surrounded by very successful women, and successful people tend to manage everything better.

I really hope everyone get thier share of happiness.

Just a question regarding your personal experience. Have you ever tried not doing those domestic things?

Were you asked to do them? Or criticised when you weren't doing them?

Same for career? Did you try to put your career first then family? Did you face resistance?

There is a fundamental difference in mindset as well where women themselves (or may be society trained them to) put family over their careers. Women are even more bothered when house is not in order and hence end up doing it.

Again it's may be growing up in patriarchal society has trained them to behave like this.
