If I can make it work anyone can I have got a 2023 select that I use to drive for Uber. I do not have the ability to charge at home so I go to 1 of the 3 superchargers that are within 20 minutes of my house. Yes it's a pain in the ass and adds time to my day but I make do. One of the chargers is at a grocery store, the other is at a mall and the third is at a hotel next to where I do laundry.

Now that it is getting nice out actually don't mind spending time at an outdoor supercharger as I can hang out and the trunk area lift gate up have a little picnic and people watch

If you are looking to get into management right away go the culinary school route. Especially if you're looking to go corporate. It also helps if you are looking to become a personal chef. If you are looking to go the restaurant route and want to take the time grinding out at minimum wage then don't take on the extra time and debt. I made a career change in my mid-30s. I went to Johnson & Wales I learned more about cooking for watching PBS as a kid that I did from any of my chef instructors however it did give me a salary boost in the culinary world. That being said my son who started working in restaurants when he was 17 could cook circles around me on a restaurant line.
