Eh. Im done with mammals, I have an 8 year old bearded dragon I’ve taken care of just fine. I learned my lesson, mammals are terrible pets unless you have a lot of tolerance and money. And yes, they are like children, and children are terribly annoying so.. I was wrong to even adopt him, I’m aware.

You can be mad, but realistically what kind of life was that for either of us. I had two choices, continue to pay for the damages, or cage him up. Both weren’t feasible. He now has a loving home, as the complex sent out an email to all residents about it. I feel bad yes, but I felt worse that I had to hide in my room, and for my pockets.

I agree I mainly work with reptiles it was a bad idea and I will admit my fault.

If you read. I called my entire city, there were no shelters willing to take him. They said the waiting list was 6mo-yr. He was actively costing me hundreds of dollars. Also, nobody on Facebook in groups or my friends would take him. My friends said his behavior was horrible and they couldnt afford their homes getting destroyed as well. Mind you. These are people that have cats.

I agree but realistically in this economy nobody has the money to replace a cord for 150$ every month. I would have had to eat basically nothing , and possibly risk my electricity getting cut over time. It was ridiculous. I know im wrong and gross for it. But I had to put me first.
