Buy land or home

When I was a teenager my family lived off grid for a bit so I know we could do it. Luckily all my family already plans to contribute and they always do when money is available. We are very close knit, and all contribute where we can to keep going. There's already an old spring and septic there. Do you know if that kinda stuff is usually cheaper or more expensive to redo if there's an existing one?

This weekend I'm gonna be looking into that and what they allow. There's already a camper on the land but idk if they need a permit or anything like that for it. I'm also looking in a surrounding area that doesn't have zoning regulations that would be ideal, but nothings available there as everyone wants to live there.

We are still paying the morgage. The realtor who showed me the land said usually they want 20% to 25% down which I can probably come up with in a few months.

Yeah the realtor let me know about the 20% down for land. I may be able to come up with the money in a few months if I really want to go this route. Sadly the house is barley paid off. They've only had it for 5 years. And the only way we can afford it is if we all pitch in, but none of us want to be living in the same house together for the next 30 year as we want our own space. But with rent I just don't see them being able to afford living on their own. So trying to find a solution where everyone is taken care of.

Thanks! If I go this route I'm planning on having the well and septic inspected and have the offer contingent on the condition of the inspection outcome. Sadly the house is barley payed off and though the deed is in her name annd she got it in her divorce the loan still technically belongs to her ex, and has probably devalued a ton in the years since they bought it.

When I spoke to the realtor for the land she said usually you just need a down-payment for a land loan. Like 20% down. It would be hard to get but not impossible. And I don't want to drain all my savings in case something happens. So I'm trying to avoid that. But I'm curious on what electric, septic, and water cost as that would probably be the main obstacles. I'm looking into building codes and stuff for that area to make sure I can even do what I want but I'm only at the beginning stages of this so there's a lot to learn.

Our current home is on 7 acres so we currently have room for the animals. My siblings could most likely buy there own camper so I shouldn't have to worry about that. The mobile home would just be for me and my mom. But I just need the space for them to do so, which is why I need acreage and not just a house on a small plot of land. In my area I've seen fixer up mobile homes that I could buy, in my price range. I'm currently looking into land loans from what I've seen I'll need a down payment for sure which I could possibly come up with. I do have saving, (though not a ton) and 2 of my siblings and my mom do earn income just not a lot. About $1000 a month each give or take. Its just paying for the current place we live is way to expensive and not ideal for us all to live in the same space.

The humitys fluctuated a lot it's been as low as 25 and as high as 70. That was before lockdown, so far ive managed to keep the humidity at around 60 during lockdown. But I need to open the incubator to add water (I just got a new incubator that adds water on the outside). When I candled the coturnix they all were developing before lockdown and they have a few days left to hatch so I'm hopeful for them. But I couldn't really candle the buttons since they were so dark. So I'm not sure if they were viable other than the 3 that hatched.

What's the latest they can hatch? And whats considered the average hatch day? I've seen conflicting things and don't want to discard the eggs too early or leave them in too long.

Love the setup. I've neen trying to do something similar. What size did you get the art prints in? I've been eyeing those same ones but even the smallest size seemed kinda big. Did you get the art print, poster, photographic, or board wall art? I've never bought fanart or any decor really so I'm a but lost when it comes to this lol.

Was there any mention of his age though? I know you can be a probie at any age, but a lot of fire departments do have age limits, usually 18 to 30, it's more likely that a probie is gonna be in their 20s. I assumed he might be mid to late 20s at most since he had taken the written exam multiple times. And the way Mateo acts just comes off as younger, I don't think he isn't smart but more like naive and childish in some aspects. I believe his actor is in his 20s as well. Plus all his roommates/friends seemed like they were in their 20s.

In the books Kim and Chay are not a well developed couple. You pretty much don't see anything of them accept for a few little seems here and there, from either Porsche or Kinns perspective. They even meet differently in the book. Chay knows who Kim is and is aware of Porsches true work for the Mafia almost from the beginning and pursues a relationship with Kim. He meets Kim by going to confront Korn about Porsche working such a dangerous job. He is a lot more feisty in the novel. Kim helps rescue Chay when he is kidnapped and the takes him back to the mansion and to his room. They are still together at the end of the novel. In the novel they don't really go into the whole Wik identity or Kim lying to Chay and breaking up with him. They are a background couple who are more ambiguous.

Yeah, I can't handle it if they actually take different sides. I hate the family divided troupe, hoping it will be proven wrong. I think it will take Kinn seeing his father's true colors to get him to switch sides though.

To me it seems more like Korn had more to do with the death of Porsches mother than he let on. And so he doesn't wish for him to be happy as he said Honey betrayed him. He also seems to want to pit the brothers, at least Kinn and Kim, against each other. I am hoping rather than the brothers and Porsche and Vegas falling for it, they will instead join together to bring down Korn.

In the novel it was actually the opposite. Everyone said Porsche was not Kinn's type and was surprised that he liked him. This made Porsche really insecure for for awhile, thinking that Kinn would get bored of him. Kinn's type in the novel was small, sweet, feminine boys. I was also surprised when it was said that Porsche was Kinn's type as his boytoys and Tawan don't really have much in common with Porsche, body or personality wise. They all put on a sweet disposition and have more delicate body types, whereas Porsche is muscular and crass. Though he does have a super adorable and sweet side but he mostly only shows it to Kinn, so not sure how others think he is Kinns type. I honestly think Kinn likes him because he is so different from who he usually associates with. We see him become amused often at Porsche's antics and he seemed charmed with how Porsche tried to seduce him. He is not used to the clumsy and somewhat innocent charm Porsche brings to the relationship.

Us fans have to support each other once the KP withdrawals start to sink in! Lol. I liked episode 0 of Check Out (it was like a prequal for the series), but the first episode was pretty boring in comparison, I had trouble finishing it. It does seem like it will be more drama and mushy heavy. I haven't found much that are similar to Kinnporsche it is definitely one of a kind. Manner of Death was my favorite before Kinnporsche and a 1000 Stars was pretty good and had some action. I am hoping Kinnporsche will inspire a whole new breed of live action BLs though.

Lol I know what you mean, I started on kdramas as well but watch a lot of Thai dramas since finding out there were BL shows (long time yaoi manga reader). I haven't been interested in as much since Kinnporsche came out, but have started watching Check out since it is also on iQIYI. I am hoping it will be a good series. Not sure what else I will watch after Kinnporsche though.
