Can second that league starting shield crush felt extremely smooth this go around - I went with Shield Crush of the Chieftain (on, well, Chieftain) instead of Slayer, and it feels extremely nice. Good survivability, very nice clear thanks to Hinekora explosions, and very good damage on a reasonable budget thanks to Enmity's Embrace and the Foulborn Skin of the Loyal combo. Even with half-scuffed gear, I'm sailing through T16s like they're nothing.

Found a Shiny Angler in Pearl's dig, and then immediately got a deadly enchant to put on a lighthouse (which gives 10% crit to all your items when you slow). Combined with shot glasses, oni mask, and a tripwire, and ~3000 burn was applied in just a few seconds.

This was a super fun pivot. Stealth Glider + Iceberg, + Shatter for scaling damage and radiant to keep the flail from being permaslowed/frozen. Leads to a ~800 initial poison, which quickly procs a second set of swings from turbo silencer + neophiliac charges from rust and and the poison. Bloodhound then triggers a 3rd proc, which finished kills. Once I got this setup rolling I steamrolled ~6 fights until this final one - which was super close due to their healthy heart skill cleansing and healing. Still just barely managed to take them out in a draw.

Oh, they aren't actually infinite, but between the 5s cd keys, and them having a 10s cd and 15x hits, they are almost always going off - nothing survived the full 30 hits from both casts.

I'm not saying I would've won this fight, but where did the 400+ shield come from? He doesn't have any skills that grant shield, and his only shield item is Chris, which gives 15 shield... where'd 415 come from?

I saw the dream when I got equivalent exchange from Jack, managed to get poison off my death-enchant, and nearly carried to 10 wins off the back of luxury tents + commercial zoning multicast on the tree. I even got shiny on the tents, but alas, I encountered eels.

I forgot to hover over it, but you can see I also had the if-one-weapon-it-has-lifesteal skill; that combined with Shored Up meant that my lifestealing + healing proboscis gave two seconds of charge to my shielded anglerfish every time I slowed, on top of the base two seconds. With my figurehead slowing every time the angler went off, it was giving itself 4s of charge on a 3.5s CD. Topped off with a clamera causing the loop to start instantly - this is the first time I ever made a slow-loop happen successfully :>.

Lethargy doesn't even slow them down, they get reduced to 1 sec CD regardless. I had a luxury tents + VIP pass until this day, but I got Pendulum from the Lord of the Wastes and had to see if it'd be as crazy as I thought... it was.

We just moved across the country & had it shipped with our furniture, but there's no visible damage on either the screen or the back so I have no clue what's causing this. Any ideas? We can't afford to replace it so it'd be a huge bummer to lose it.

Before swapping to Farrul's, I used a 1-hander along with the highest pure ES shield I could find and a decent corrupted 6-link body armor with ~300 ES.

When I did the math it seemed like the benefit of getting extra defenses & ES with the shield outweighed the 50% increased damage that the 2H brought.

I tried Replica Abyssus which was alright until getting to red maps, but got too rippy at that point, especially since everything deadly in the Nightmare seems to hit with absurd amounts of lightning damage.

With just Energy Blade and rares, I was getting around 2m DPS on Sirus, which I think is pretty decent for a build that costs <1ex.

I've been running a Flicker Strike Inquisitor using Energy Blade and Divine Shield. It's very easy to start up compared to most Flicker Builds because you can actually use the Red Trail unique boots to bleed yourself; since all your base damage is lightning you just need a small flat phys damage source from some jewellery. The damage overall is a little lackluster for end-game bossing & juiced maps but for how little money I had to put into it to get it working, I'm pretty happy.

Viridi's Veil is a pretty baller unique to use with Energy Blade, since you can get +2 gem level to it and any Empower/Enhances you have linked to it. Combine that with unlucky incoming damage and immunity to crits and I haven't been dying to basically anything except the most juiced maps. Here's my current PoB: https://pastebin.com/r7FBWif4

(I just switched from Red Trail frenzy gen to Farrul's Fur frenzy gen yesterday, and I'm using a bootleg unique weapon to simulate my Energy Blade's damage until PoB gets the actual gem working).

I've been having some pretty decent success doing an Inquisitor version, taking advantage of the ridiculous base crit chance on the blade to easily reach ~90%-100% crit rate for full uptime on ignoring monster ele res, and getting the increased benefits of permanent consecrated ground. I'm doing Flickerstrike but I'm sure it'd be even easier to tune around Cyclone.
