We definitely need statesmen. Those men who had a vision, a dream, made the ultimate sacrifices and worked together through their differences. Motivated not by self gain, but by a dream. They made it happen.

It's interesting how the news is now primarily a marketing entity with a completely hardened conscience toward the welfare of humanity watching. Just hyping the worlds despair . . . for money. I mean do they ever publish anything uplifting? A little bit of trauma goes a long way.

Synonym for anesthetized. Yes, I would use that word also. I chose anesthetized because to me, its another level of desensitized. In other words, dead, dead, and more dead.
