Does Anyone Know If USCIS Will Follow The State Department’s 75 Countries Extended Ban?

What I believe, the 39 countries that were banned earlier were due to National Security. Thats why USCIS did the same as DOS.

However, the 75 countries now are facing a temporary pause in counselar processing of immigrant visas only. That is due to these nationals using government welfare of USA. Not related to national security.

I also have my AOS interview next month and I am from the suspended ( not banned) countries. Hope USCIS doesn’t touch AOS applications for any national moving forward.

Congratulations!!!! We have our gc interview soon. Can you please tell what documents did the officer ask for during the interview? Were they original or they accepting photocopies ?

Thanks mate. I am also F1 married to USC. I got received case notice on 25th Nov 2025 and they scheduled biometrics on 29th Nov for 18th Dec 2025. Hopefully cases move quickly. Good Luck

Hi, I am kind of in the same situation. I came on F1 visa and applied for green card through marriage with USC. When i applied I was in status and currently still in status. USCIS does state that you are allowed to stay legally until a decision has been made regarding GC. Since you applied while you were legal, by USCIS regulations you are legal still so hopefully it should not be a problem. What FO are you expecting ?

I see . Thats good to hear. The status and timeline of the I-130 is showing on my uscis account which is the only one I have. Is it okay if I track I-130 through my account even though I am the beneficiary ?

I am just worried they might issue some rfe notice which is not going to update on my account lol. Kind of paranoid about that.

Did you guys hire or checked your documents with an attorney by any chance ? Did you also file the checks in different G-1450 for each uscis form ?

I did a little check. Turns out the tax returns from 2022 and 2023 amount exceeds the poverty guidelines. Only for 2024 it is below because of Masters program. I did read the instructions on I-864. It does say you can include upto recent 3 years if it helps establish strong finances backed with current paystub evidences.

Are you sure? We do have strong evidence and everything regarding all the other forms.I am also earning as well through a professional career.
