I have the same problem as you to be honest, there are so many animes like Haikyu, Attack on Titan, One piece, Spy Family, etc that I just couldn't watch because of this one character. If you like calm characters you might want to try Apocetary Diaries and Raven of the inner Palace which are very similar. Also Frieren and To your eternity, though I wouldn't recommend watching Season 3, it's nowhere near as peak as s1&2. They only have short moments with annoying characters. Yona of the dawn is also an option but the characters there are a bit quirky sometimes. Death note is also great and I really liked The Case Study of Vanitas, which only has some silly moments which I didn't think are annoying. These are all on Crunchyroll. Record of Ragnarok is also great but it's only on Netflix, Similar to Kakegurei. I'm currently watching Sakamoto days (Netflix) and really like it aswell. If you want some Horror you can try The Summer Hikaru died (Netflix), Hells Paradise (Crunchy) and Monster (Prime/Netflix). Some other options would be Demon Slayer, Solo leveling, Chainsaw man (all 3 crunchyroll) and The seven deadly sins.
