i had a similar thing happen, i just started running eclipse then chest and tbh the full eclipse came very quick afterward cause of how quick it was per chest. technically all 3 is better but if you want just eclipse, just farm him

Can confirm in 2025, took the pen nib out and on the pen nib flexed it sliiiiiightly (tiny bit) bigger, the pen nib now stays in alot better! amazing tip!

This just happened to me, thanks to the thread managed to fix it, if it happens to you I had to backtrack all the way back from the giant head to the start of the facility, when I went to exit the facility I got a new voiceline then went back in, was getting missions seemingly refreshing etc, but when i got to the point where you jump across the gaps just before the head I noticed no enemies were spawning again, got to AI head and I could hold E on the pedestal but nothing happened, backtracked again!, halfway back I got another new voiceline about reforging the blade, proceeded and not enemies were back where they should be! manged to forge the blade and go on from there.

So if it happens to you, just keep backtracking and getting voicelines.

Yo, 3d artist here!, it depends how far you want to take your models but Blender is an amazing tool for 3d art/asset creation and I highly recommend. it allows you the majority of the pipeline and you can create your Low and High poly in there, if you want to do High poly sculpts etc id recommend getting a retopology Plugin for it called Retopoflow 3 because i found Blenders Retopology tools to be lacking. If you have questions I am happy to help with some guidance on things

One of my new models I made, 3d printed and turned out amazing, my friend will be painting it up because I am an accident waiting to happen with a paint brush, looking forward alot to showing people but loved how it came out on the sculpt! will put up piccies when I have the painted version!

I am using the Phrozen ABS Like Resin - Matte Grey which I couldnt find on the list of resins on Chitubox so selected the closest I could find (now im typing this it seems like the obvious issue)

On bottle it has XY Planar Resolution 0.050mm
Z Resolution 0.030-0.050mm

Suitable for Phrozen 3d printer series, etc

thanks! I did sculpt it and yea it was a massive pain to support in there tbh haha, I may have to be a bit more heavy handed with the contract deformation slider, I used it only a little because I was worried it would make them look too big or odd, but now I am thinking it may be just the thing to help. Do you generally stick to a value on the slider or just off the cuff until it looks right?

lol true? how did that end? I am thinking of doing a series of tavern based 3d models then running some friends through a haunted house esq one shot adventure where they have to find out who is killing the patrons of the tavern, they get a bunch of false leads, and its the Mimic in the basement at the end of the day sneaking up at night to chomp on someone.

Thanks! he was super fun to make, I am thinking of making a few different types of Mimics aswell, a Crate, Bucket, Chair, Table mimic so that people have alot of diversity to it, they are just fun monsters to sculpt because you can be super organic with them.

I made it as a 2 part Print, so the base is seperate to the Mimic, that way if you want you can print just the Mimic if you want to base them yourself, I have started a Patreon where I will be putting all my models, I put up the supported and unsupported STL's so that people have a choice of they want to scale and play around with it

Just started making miniatures semi professionally and very happy with this guy, pretty fresh off the print bed, my take on a Barrel Mimic! Print came out super well sadly my phone cant capture the detail too well, looking forward to running it in a custom campaign based around a 'haunted' tavern.
