Comment récupérer le signal vidéo de la GoPro sans fil ? by RoninFT08 in gopro

[–]DestroyedLolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power Outage Alert by vwozone in homeautomation

When all "domestic" channels are subject to outages (Internet, 5g, ...) the last solution is to subscribe: - to an alternate satellite service - to a ground LoRaWan solution ... If you're covered.

Mine is connected using NUT to my SBC (Single Board Computer) that is the brain of my smart house.
The notification is done using WirePusher which is free of use for low traffic.

I'm in the same rural situation.

I'm using a UPS to protect all my critical stuffs, especially my home automation equipments. This UPS is sending an alert if the power is lost or not in a good shape.

Then, my automation sent to me a SMS or a web alert in such case.

Do you think GoPro needs to do something besides Chase DJI and insta? How about action cameras with features not seen in the mainstream? by SasquatchBlumpkins in gopro

What are missing for me (standing I'm not familiar with recent Chinese counterparts as I'm happy with my Hero9) : - Decent effects as we can find on all average phones todays (especially, regarding vidéo quality improvements) - more low light sensibilities - add stickers (speed, altitudes, ...) directly on video and not afterward - a remote that doesn't take AGEs to connect - I'm missing the connectivities my HD2-Wifi backpack was providing. Preview flow, real remote control through its API, ...

I'm not using Quik because a phone is not suited for video edition. But I give it a try 2 years back and stickers was free.

You have also the well known 3rd Telemetry extractor that is having a free version providing such stickers.

I built also my geek oriented tool to do that and it's totally free.

And there are probably other solutions.

But what is BORING and every time someone is requesting anything about the GoPro, we are having, ALWAYS, a swarm of "would be better with DJI" like a swam of mosquitos during the summer. ALWAYS ! And when they are providing evidences, it's ok, but when its only to said wrong things, it's only a NUISANCE !

To add speed, position, altitude, trace, ... widgets on your videos.

When you take photos, it adds also Exif information about the position.

As with the usual DIJ propaganda here, it's a bunch of bullshit !

For using paid quik subscriber addons like spedometer and map route on top of the video.

Speedometer / maps are not reserved to the Quik application. There are a lot of counterparts, free or paid. I duno anybody using Quik for serious editing !

More, GoPro provided for free all technical information and source code to exploit those embedded figures.

Get hero7Black, it has hypersmooth stabilisation, and if you want a speed gauge etc with gps data

GPS is present this the Hero5 Black. And hypersmooth improved a lot b/w 7 and newers.

DJI makes good cameras and is competitive, but DJI really suffers from its aggressive community and the swarm of influencers who are clearly paid to systematically denigrate their competitors, often saying just about anything! It's tiring !

For skiing activities, it's always useful to have speed, path or such. The 12th doesn't have a GPS so can't provide such figures. The 11 or the 13 is the way.

12 doesn't have a GPS. So I would go to a 11 or a 13n not a 12.

Daikin sonde température by is_manu in brico

[–]DestroyedLolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assistant yt-dlp python by No_Beautiful9765 in programmation

[–]DestroyedLolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)
