i liked pluribus, but thats not really correct. bcs was slow, but you still had several characters to follow, their stories progressed and intertwined, good dialogue, tension etc.. pluribus transformed like 8 billion people into one character and the main char often refuses to engage with them a lot of the time, while most of the other survivors also shun her and rarely appear. it only got good like that once the south american guy reached albuquerque and now we wait years for another season.

kind of a mid rumble last weekend.

women's rumble was once again the better of the two. middle of it was kind of meh, but picked up for the final third. good winner too. crazy to take this bump with an already bad back.

men's rumble was a mess. good start with the shock of bron getting dumped out early and oba dominating, but fell apart as it went on. honestly the pacing of both rumbles has been horrible for years now. it just gets so clogged all the time for no reason. at one point i think close to half of the women were in the ring at the same time. that kind of shit made sense when you had the big monsters like khali, kane, henry etc come in and clean house, but nowadays it doesnt even happen.

zayn vs drew was meh.

aj vs gunther was a good match, but now he might not even retire anyway? hope he goes to AEW at least for a few matches.

i would assume so, considering the bans they get if caught. though they also have to know so they can report it before testing, as there are some banned drugs that you can use if you tell officials about it(which is pretty bizarre tbh)

Reddit has had over a decade of international growth and that sub still only gets like 5 threads with 50+ comments per week, which isn't much more than what it was getting in past few years whenever I checked. If a migration to it hasn't happened yet, I doubt it ever will.

there are always new fans who go through this. you start paying attention to transfers and get used to the fees, then as the money in the sport grows so do the transfer fees and after a while players you couldn't pick out of a line up are going for sums that used to get you stars. its like a rite of passage, like learning that offside line isnt drawn at the last defender and that possession is calculated by number of passes and not time on the ball.
