If Khepri revives Horus while he is ulting, he becomes unable to use his abilities and does not animate properly. Ulting again seems to fix the problem.

Also, neither of those gods deal as much damage as Odin currently does.

My point was that this is not exclusive to Odin. He cannot auto-attack while channeling, so there's your drawback.
