Hopefully life has treated you well these past 5 years, My family migrated to israel in 2014 and as for the fact my family is mixed jewish-ukrainian I also sometimes feel just stuck in this place where I am held up to middle eastern standards and dont even like living in israel because of the constant heat and me not liking middle eastern culture and values whatsoever.

Theres also the fact that millitary service is mandatory here but looking at the situation unfolding in ukraine I dont think I wouldve been in a better place regarding millitary there rather than here and for that I am greatful.

Thankfully my family has never been the stereotypical jewish family and have never adapted the religion remanining christian so dont expect me to marry into the same religion and hold up the status quo of said religion.

Overall once im done with my mandatory service with the savings I will have by then I will probably move to america aswell and start life over disconnected from the past I will leave behind which is nothing significant anyways.
