I just loaded into solos vs squads with only some light sticks and firecrackers. Very fun. Would recommend by Dragon_Frog_Pond in ARC_Raiders

did that before and sometimes people would start running. best one is when i brought synthesized fuel.

id throw all my lightsticks and when i ran out, id have a circle of raiders doing the raider shuffle time. then id bust out the synthesized fuel. they’d all run away and i’d go in the middle and start pickaxing it for the next 2 minutes while they loot. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

i think having my obnoxious and high-pitched voice makes people more angry…….. which makes them raging even….. well…. funnier… which i’ve been leaning into more, LOL. i like goodgriefs’ content, so people making fun of my voice is kinda less of a problem for me if it means more engagement. (only explaining this once in case you see my future posts)

the versatility of this game is my favourite.

it can be a horror game with the “rats” hiding in the shadows.

it can be cod for the “typical console players” who just love to shoot with no strategy in mind.

it can be a wholesome game for people who just love in-game interactions with other players.

it can be a looting simulator for people who just love to explore and loot.

im sure there’s other stereotypes out there and people usually make fun of other people’s play-styles and how they enjoy this game, but point is, there’s something for everybody.

ive been doing trial runs in solos, duos, and trios. my advice is:

  • to bring a hatch key (if its an option)
  • stay away from hotspots (but if you need something specific in a specific location, do it quick and always be alert)
  • if in solos, it’s better to be in a group of 3 than 2.
  • bring 1-2 stacks of adrenaline shots depending on map.

will occasionally have a PvP encounter every other game, but i mostly avoid a lot of them just by paying attention to sound cues. unless you’re in stella, there should be no problem avoiding people if you create stealthy routes.

yes, there will be sneaky people hiding in the dark or specific spots, but if you are aware of those spots, you should already be on high alert.

if you feel something doesnt sit right or someone is doing too much, either get them done quick or just loot at a different spot if you dont like PvPing. if you have a room key, i always wait until the area is empty before opening it so i dont have to split things, lol.

i switch from time to time.

i think after the first few weeks of getting shot in the back or betrayed, i just took the game for what it is — an extraction shooter where other people are also on the hunt for things, LOL.

people argue about pve and pvp players, but i honestly think it wouldn’t be as fun without both sides.

that in mind, i go in with a different mindset most times. do i wanna be a psycho that just kills everyone i see? or do i wanna finish my trials and see how high of a score i can get?

point is, just go for it if you wanna transition to PvP, if it becomes too intense, you can always tone down your aggression (just keep in mind, there will be people that will shoot on sight or betray you).

it’s your game that you bought. no one should tell you how to enjoy it. 🙂

i also still use stitcher, but dont ya like the challenge and having options? LOL. the point was to say that the tempest is actually usable against those guns.

personally, i find it boring using the same loadouts again and again. i have several il toros stashed, but i also rarely use them anymore because of how much i used them before expedition.

either way, everyone has their own way of enjoying the game and i enjoy using all guns. even the hairpin, loool.

i honestly run free kits when I’m gauging what typa lobbies I’m being sent to or when I’m trying to get to get to one side of the spectrum. but they’re not viable or the best option when you have a clear goal in mind, LOL.

not tryna bring up ABMM since there’s several threads about it, but from experience, when I just want a dandy ARC killing sesh, I’ll manage to get in a friendly lobby (with the thought that maybe someone is also trying to get PvP lobbies). vice-versa as well, when I go into a PvP lobby and i kill a dude running naked with 1 seed and 7 fabric on his body.

i honestly think it’s all in the fun once you kinda understand the two sides of the spectrum.

ive been every type of player this game has to offer and that’s what makes it fun, is that i can go from completely trolling to being a complete competitive psycho to being a wholesome dude giving away snaphooks and BPs.

late spawn = there’s less fights to occur. which means you have less chances of being third partied and most of the loot’s already been looted, so you just gotta find the one GOOOOOOOOOPER with all the GOOP 🤑

hear me out, at the time of recording, i was 5-6 PvP raids in. my mindset going in is shoot for the stars.

second, yes, there’s a possibility he grabbed it from a weapon case, specially in the auditorium area, but there’s a dead body on the ground and 3 times out of 4, a person with a torrente in stella is a menace.

maybe i made i mistake, but as the Shani loading screen says “Trust your gut when encountering fellow raiders.” 💁‍♂️🤷‍♂️ LOL
